my son was 17 when he had *** with a 14 yr old and a 15 yr old. a year passes before the parents find out about the party in their backyard. my son was reprizented by a puplic OFFENDER. they gave my son no choise but to take an eight yr prison sentince plus life suppervision because he is now a child molester. they said that if he went to trial, that if he was convicted of even 1 account, he would get 30 yrs. they broke down every *** act.they said he is an adult and a prediture. he has adhd plus many other conditions, hes far from being an adult. no matter what color your skin is, when your child is ran through the justice system like that, the pain, oh my god, a mothers heart just aches. my son does not deserve to be raped or shanked and lose he whole life because he had *** with willing partners.

It''''s important to not see this as a *Georgia* or *Republican* or *Religious* issue because it''''s simply not true - and as Genarlow Wilson has learned ignorance of the law is not an excuse!

This is just simply a LIE and you know it! Why do you people pretend that nothing is wrong in this part of the Country when we ALL know there is. The FACT is that a Black Teen was changed with a horrible Crime, Convicted and sentenced to what the SUPREME COURT said was CRUEL and UNUSUAL Punishment. Now it''s not like this state and it''s people haven''t done this before... we all know their history and it IS NOT good. The Fact that the White Teen recieved NO PUNISHMENT speaks louder than anything else. IF these people want to be part of the NORMAL World then they need to DEMONSTRATE to the rest of the world that they have INDEED Changed. I, who live amoung them, do not see any change what so ever.

Well I do know something about it since I was born and raised in the South. These people for as long as I can remember have been enforcing the laws in a Bigoted way. That is the case here. They threw the book at the black Teen and the girl involved? No charges brought. Now maybe you can attempt to understand that IF you can get by your OWN bigotry!!

What is it with "prosecutors" from the south. Where do they find these scumbags that are able to send people (usually black people) to jail for years at a time. If Douglas County District Attorney David McDade thinks that a ten year sentence, branding a young man as a child-molester and ruining the entire life of this your man was fair, then this man is theee WORST type of beast there is. It is time that laws were passed to make prosecutors liable for their crimes against the people. I''m certain that if this McDade has children, that they probably have committed the same crimes he was willing to incarcerate a young black man for. This man is evil and unfit for the position he holds. Shame to Douglas County for electing yet another racist prosecutor.

Odd how so many (children I assume) here accuse the DA of trumping the charges along with racism, pride, fire in their pants etc.

So, atheist pig, where the He11 did you and FreeFeel1 come up with this kind of BS.

Posted by rushman71 at 04:46 PM : Oct 26, 2007

Where?

How about Robertson''''s own words:

"(Pat Robertson) agreed with Falwell when Falwell stated (24) that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were caused by ''''pagans, abortionists, feminists, ***, lesbians, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People For the American Way.''''"

. . .

"(Pat) Robertson stated that the acceptance of homosexuality could result in hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, terrorist bombings and ''''possibly a meteor.''''"

Source: Wikipedia (Pat Robertson)

Pat clearly claims his God prefers violence over sexual activities. Or, anything else he disapproves.

He is a typical sexually repressed, hate filled bigot, aka "bible thumper."

It appears you need to relieve yourself of all the hate that consumes you.

Maybe you should lay off the bible for awhile and try having sexual relations with someone (preferably someone willing).

Very happy to see he is out. Only conservative pricks who have fire in their pants yet don''t get enough wudddy would convict someone for something like that. I think they were probably just jealous. What is with the "sodomy" and "oral secks" laws in the US? What conservative guy with his shorts pulled up past his belly button came up with that?

Bad parenting or not, this crime didn''t deserve so much as a day in prison, let alone 10 years. The DA let racism, pride, or ego blind him to justice, to put this kid, with no former record, an honor roll student on his way to college, in jail.

The sad thing about this is the fact that this young man did 4 years in prison for this "crime" and the young lady in question, who willingly particpated in what happened that night, got to go on being a normal teenager - guarandamtee you she probably had s-e-x again within a month, and probably more than once, too. She''s a "victim" and he''s a molestor - where is the justice in that?

" Georgia attorney general Thurbert Baker said he accepts Friday''s ruling.

"I have received and reviewed the decision by the Georgia Supreme Court in this matter, and I respectfully acknowledge the court''s authority to grant the relief that they have crafted in this case," he said. " Big of him, wasn''t it? Especially when an appeals court said lower the sentence, and let the young man go, and the AG refused. Why didn''t he buck this ruling too?

Dissenting justices wrote that the state Legislature expressly stated that the 2006 change in the law was not intended to affect any crime prior to that date.

They said Wilson''s sentence could not be cruel and unusual because the state Legislature decided that Wilson could not benefit from subsequent laws reducing the severity of the crime from a felony to a misdemeanor.

They called the decision an "unprecedented disregard for the General Assembly''s constitutional authority."
**************************

These dissenting justices should be ashamed of themselves. What kind of nuts are they thta think a kid participating in heavy petting with another teenager should be in jail for ten years. I think Americans are nuts, but at least justice finally prevailed.

Ummm ****, I have teenagers and they don''t act like the trash featured in this article. Another person posted in here "do you keep them locked in a closet"? Lmao... Explain to me what gives a 15 year old the right to attend a party with 17 year olds in a hotel room? If you support parents who ALLOW this to happen, you are a complete nut case

Children DO NOT have the right to do as they please. And people can control their "hormones" if they are raised properly. The pattern I see on those who have disagreed with me on this subject seems to state "they are going to do it anyway". Bull, there are a few decent teens out there - believe it or not!

Again, this case is a result of BAD parenting skills. Legal issues, racism, social justice issues - ALL are irrelevant in this discussion - always trace things to the root cause when it comes to children - THE PARENTS!

Thumpers love violence; hate sexual activities.

So, atheist pig, where the He11 did you and FreeFeel1 come up with this kind of BS. I definitely believe in the Lord, and you know what, I also believe that *** is a gift that God has provided for a man and a woman to share with each other. Biblethumpers? Kind of gives you people the perfect description of yourselves!!! Shut up and go thump off!!!

Displeased said, "I didn''t realize there was a law against teenagers under 18 having consensual ***." I assume you''re talking about s/3x, a word CBS won''t let us use, even though they use it in their stories! Every state has laws against underage s/3x. The age varies by state, but it''s illegal everywhere in this country. Most teenagers just ignore the law.

In most states, ONLY the male child has to suffer any consequences, which I think is CRA/ZY. A 15 yr old male child having consensual s3/x with a 16 yr old female can be charged with statutory rape! The girl is treated as a "victim".

When religious fanatics get to write the laws, we get to live in looneyville.

"One or two senators get busted being a F*AG and people like marcodele thinks it''s a trend."

NOT just 1 or 2. More than a TREND, it''s an EPIDEMIC OF PERVERTED HYPOCRITES! A SHORT list:

1. David Vitter, Sponsor of FL%u2019s Sexual Predator Elimination Act caught in some predatory behavior in a men''s toilet.
2. NC Rep David Almond, ran around his office with *** in hand, chasing some poor assistant while screaming she should su/ck it, + resigned after a week of prodding from fellow wingnuts who were embarrassed that his hypocrisy might make them look bad.
3. Rep. Bob Allen, co-chairman of John McCain''s Florida presidential campaign, who was soliciting *** from males in a public toilet.
4. Idaho Senator Larry Craig, arrested for stalking a plain clothes cop and offering him $20 in return for sucking on the law official''s member.
5. Mitch McConnell, kicked out of the armed forces in 1967 after only 10 days at Fort Knox. He refuses to allow public access to his discharge papers, but "groping a private''s privates" has been bandied around for decades.
6. Republican Florida A.G. Charlie Crist, outed by his even more extreme right primary opponent, Tom Gallagher.
7 Too many to fit here, but you get the idea. The GOP is the party of deviants.

The GOP features draft dodgers as warmongers, perverts posing as prudes, and homosexuals behaving as homophobes. Hard to believe that these people are supposed to be the political paragons of virtue.
