The top 1% of American wage earners pay 39.4 % of all taxes"

And how many of those top 1% have lost a family member in a war of choice?

"The top 5% of American wage earners pay 59.7% of all taxes."

And how many of these 5% can be found zipping around Baghdad in a humvee?

"The bottom 50% of American wage earners pay 3% of all taxes."

And is undoubtedly paying the brunt of lost lives and lost limbs.

"And if we didn''''''''t have a liberal wolfpack press ALL AMERICANS WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH."

And if we didn''''t have perception5 standing on the mountain and praising those who are benefiting the most from Bush''''s wars, America might become more fair to those that actually make the ultimate sacrifice to their country.

If you could afford it, would you choose a community pool or your own pool in your backyard? Why should the wealthy join the military? The military is fine for the millions of people who need employment and need to learn job skills. It does not pay well compared to what a person with skills or a profession can earn in the private sector. Although I respect our military, many young people sent to war often lack the skills and background that some others achieve with higher education. Again, a community pool or a private pool? The choice is usually dictated by our socio-economic status in life.

Who is the real liar and hypocrit here MCVett.

You have stolen the log-in name from an authentic liberal so you can lie and pretend to be him.

You don''t even have the courage to post derogatory comments under your own name, even when you are safe behind your computer screen. You are a coward and a thief and in so being, reflect all the Bush standards that have disgusted Americans for 7 years.

Anyone dumb enough to compare the arson fires in California which covered 600 plus square miles to a major storm that destroyed over 9,000 square miles is probably an ignorant neocon ranting on a website about "the liberal Democrats."

Hey, it''s time for the Rush Limbaugh show! Gotta run!

It would be nice if the National Guard were guarding the nation. People join the National Guard to serve thier country in a special way. They want to serve, but they also want to work near home, and spend most nights with their families. Disasters like Katrina and the California fires are great opportunities for Guard troops to protect their homes. When the Guard is used to supplement the regular military in a war halfway around the planet, they can''t do that.

Bush and Cheney say the Iraq war is the only thing between us and death. If it''s so important, it''s worth a draft. If Bush indeed has to keep troops in Iraq to try to restore the peace, he should draft soldiers to go there and bring the Guard home to take care of us here.

The wealthy need to pay a whole lot more than they currently are... Tax breaks for the wealthy? Hell no!
They should be paying part of the middle class tax. --

It is always easier to take someone else''s money as long as yours is left alone. Tax tobacco if you are a non-smoker. Tax alcohol if you are a non-drinker. Tax casino winnings if you are a non-gambler. Tax gasoline if you are a non-driver. Divide and conquer works well as long as it is someone else''s money.

I heard one right wing group claim this was the work of terrorists. No proof, no facts. Typical right wing knee jerk reaction.

Thats the difference Republican know how to "manage" things much better than Democrats.

Vote Republicon, and you get what you vote for: INCOMPETENCE, due to rampant CRONYISM that allows the USA to be attacked by 19 terrorists. And how about the stellar performance by the Bush administration in dealing with Katrina, and now the Schartzneggar group failing to douse the flames in Southern California because their National Guard is fighting a needless war in Iraq? America has never been so mismanaged, all due to the self-centered extremists known as the Republicons!

When the Bushit Neoconscum pass massive tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% of the US, while spending over a trillion dollars on an optional war! Duuhhh!

Posted by gkc99

Letting the wealthy keep more of their money is such a crime. Fact is, a majority of taxes are already paid by the wealthy. Where do you think all of the freebies for the poor come from?

The top 5% of American wage earners pay 59.7% of all taxes.

The bottom 50% of American wage earners pay 3% of all taxes.

And if we didn''t have a liberal wolfpack press ALL AMERICANS WOULD KNOW THE TRUTH.

this has to be the biggest egoistical nonsense you have posted yet. There is no fundamental difference in the parties in WA today and who they benefit.

They have high paid, cushie jobs and they do whatever it takes to keep them. Republican and Democrat. They all benefit themselves. Your jokers aren''t any less self-interested and self-preserving than our jokers, and that you make these feeble attempts to put Republicans on some pedestal, to give them some kind of sainthood, to make them some elevated bit of humanity because they pick an (R) over (D) is just laughable. Craig and Foley ought to hear this....

LOL times a thousand.

rhsperson - the rich wouldn''t stay rich without the assistance of the poor.
Sunseeker - The message is only heard when someone travels to tell it. You never really hear the message from someone with a truly low carbon footprint. Be happy someone spreads the message... And don''t you wonder if this unusually long hot summer weather in Southern California just might be related to overall global changes in temperatures? It creates very dry grass and hot ground... perfect for an arsonist, don''t ya'' think?
I know... connect the dots was never your thing...

Mr. Meyers there is a reason why this situation is different from the Katrina situation.

Number 1: In California we have a Republican Mayor in San Diego and a Republican Govnernor in Arnold.
With Katrina we had a Democrat Mayor who refused to evacuate the poor people in the DAYS before Katrina hit and a Democrat Governor that told our President that the levees were fine when in fact they weren''t.

That''s the difference Republican know how to "manage" things much better than Democrats.

I simply point to our 110 Do Nothing Democrat Congress for another example to prove my point.

Mr. Meyers its long past time that America''s corrupt liberal MSM wolfpack press STOPS propping up their close pals the Democrat Party and provide Americans will the truth and hard facts.

Our liberal wolfpack press should be calling "balls and strikes" not "pitching" the game.

Diversity your liberal staff at CBS (Corrupt Broadcasting Station).

So San Diego Republicans in hill top mansions can be brought down by one disgrunted illegal with a match? Is this a message for the future of America? Will our country self-destruct as the Neocon Repugs preside over the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in US history? You got your Bushit tax cuts, Mr. and Mrs. Republican Billionaire, but can you protect yourself from the neighbors you''''ve robbed? --
