Go study direct ratios on companies and see how debt is considered GOOD.

Now that is the most rediculous statement I''ve ever heard. We pay out 450 MILLION dollars a year in Interest on that debt... where do you fascist think that money comes from, the tooth Fairy? We could be using that money to build new bridges or for some other value to the PEOPLE... but NO! We have to borrow so the rich can get a tax break. How smart is that? Sieg Heil Bush!!

Don, I remember what my professor in my first Econ class said about government debt: It is not the same as your personal debt. Right after that, he went into "fallacy of composition" discussion.

Go study direct ratios on companies and see how debt is considered GOOD.

Some totally re/tarded student of D#ck Cheney said, "Debt is not bad for a government".

Debt is bad for everyone and everything. When a government is heavily in debt, what that really means is that ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY are heavily in debt. USA Today reported yesterday that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have racked up $8000 of debt for each and every man, woman, and child in this country!

For the average born-agin repugnant family of 4, that adds up to $32,000 debt they have to pay off with what they scrape in at WalMart! They can''t pay it now, and as the wars continue (Cheney and Rice are pushing to nuke Iran, so the cost will go up exponentially), they NEVER will be able to pay it, nor will their children (if any of them survive WW3) or their grand-children.

So, this debt is extremely bad for the People of the USA. The government, you may recall, is supposedly "of, by, and for the people"! But too many of the people are brain-dead sheep.

When Cheney said, "debt doesn''t matter", what he really meant was "our supporters are so stu/pid that they don''t understand that we''re borrowing money from them and their children to give to our war machine buddies, and we''ll be long gone before they realize we''ve bankrupted them all! Ha ha ha!"
