BTW... All you bleeding heart liberals who worship at the feet of the ACLU are playing into a truly evil, communist organization, these American haters work for an organization bent on destroying America and the very fabric good. The ACLU was started by a communist, Roger Baldwin. This group hates America and they are doing everything possible to corrupt the legal system.

I also hate to break it to you liberal idiots... President George Bush has nothing to do with this whole mess, including the ACLU.

"The ultimate goal of progressive liberalism is a communist dictatorship" - President Clinton June 12, 1997 This is what the ACLU is working toward.

I simply hate the weak kneed liberals of both parties who will not do what has to be done. This guy is a cold hearted murder and you liberal ***** want to have him serve life instead. The man is a total waste of skin and should die for what he did, and will do again in the future if given the chance. I can forgive the man the moment he is put to death, bit I will never forget.

The liberal butt hairs who want him "Saved" have never had a love one killed by one of these monsters or seen the awful carnage they do. "Kill them all on death row, then let God sort them out."

I note a lot of Republishit Party members posting on this board - murderous, cowardly twits that want the state to do their murders for them...they simply don''t have the ballocks for it themselves.

Thank God the ACLU has stepped in to stop this gruesome spectacle. Otherwise the green-teeth Hillrods, hellbent on murder, would kill us all.

Not exactly what Jayzusssssssssssss would do, eh Hillrod ?

It amazes me that lethal injection has not been perfected yet. I am an animal lover that has had many many pets in my life. Cats, dogs, and horses. When it was the right time I had a veterinarian put them to sleep with a lethal injection...I was there every time. Every time it was over in less than a minute and appeared to be totally painless. Have a vet give the injections.

This is the wrong place for the ACLU to put its resources. The death penalty is sometimes administered to innocent people. That should NEVER happen, but it already has too many times. Since guilt "beyond reasonable doubt" is not the same as "beyond any doubt," we ought to change the standard of proof in death penalty cases. For example, if a guy is caught on video severely beating an elderly person, I don''t care if the victim dies or not, we should be able to put the defendant to death very soon, provided there is no doubt at all about his guilt. Never mind the difficult childhood he had; it''s too late to change that. We should learn something from it, and take better care of the current youth in this country, but once a person beats a 70-year-old woman for her purse, he needs to be eliminated from society, whether his victim dies or is just hospitalized. A "beyond any doubt" standard of proof would free us to execute without the worry about whether we got the right guy in some cases.

What is wrong with this country that a criminal has more rights than the victim.

You''re absolutely right maedean. Even the phrase "Criminal Justice" shows how our society has placed the "rights" of criminals above those of victims.

My daughter''s murderer now has better medical and educational resources available to him than I do. A shame indeed.

How sad for you. Can''''t you have a discussion on anything without bringing Bush into it? You sound a bit obsessive to me. You''''re going to have to find a new obsession once Bush is out of office. I see our President has such a profound impact on you.

Interesting that you should say that!

For the past 7 years Bush apologists have been using Bill Clinton as a scapegoat for all the numerous Bush incompetent actions, up to and including including, not catching Bin Laden.

What constitutes the death penalty? Here is the list. If his crime fills within the guidelines of the state law then get-er-done.

Nevada. First-degree murder with at least 1 of 15 aggravating circumstances

To view the complete list by state go to the link below.

What is wrong with this country that a criminal has more rights than the victim. They don''t care how cruel the crime was or what the criminal does to someones family. Just put them on death row and spend thousands on a worthless peice of sheet. Did the state or goverment spend money to lay the the deceased to rest ????? Nope but lets all feel sorry for the criminal.. What is wrong with the justice system that they have been allowed to bring this country to this ??

rohink, considering that the American President is the one who appoints the justices to the US & state supreme courts, which are the ones reviewing the issues in this case, don''t you think that the President who has installed a number of these judges is relevant?

The cruel and unusual punishment is speaking for someone that didn''t ask for it. The ACLU does enough damage when they are asked for help. He is ready to except his punishment. Let him

Justice has become a joke in this country with the President as the biggest joke (remember Libby).
