Lawmakers Blast Federal Officials For Failing To Respond To Noose-Hanging Incident
- And for the "FOOL" that wrote hanging a noose is an artistic expression is as crazy and insane as those that hung the noose.
The symbolic gesture of the "noose" has always symbolized hate, and "sugar-coating" a pile of SH[IT isn''''''''t going to change the facts.

We have agreed and disagreed before this time i ask one question, "Why is it ''Art'' to hand a Cross with Jesus on it in a bottle of ''urine'' but not to hang a noose in a tree"? Give this some thought before answering. - Reply to this comment

- I never said it was as bad. It''s not, I simply said they should both be punished. I''m so sick and tired of people saying well you whites this or you blacks that. Get over yourselves. It''s about the individual person''s actions. Those need to be punished. Those kids who hung that noose, should get a swift kick in the butt. Those kids who ganged up on that other kid, they should get what''s coming to them to. Please don''t misconstrue what I''m saying. I think what they both did was way off base. It''s unacceptable, if either one of my children hung a noose from a tree. I''d make them pay for it, if either one of my children were cowards enough to gang up on another child? You bet they''d be getting it from me and the court! NONE OF THIS BEHAVIOUR IS ACCEPTABLE, PERIOD.

- They should have been punished equally. But because people place to much on race, they never will be. Someone somwhere will always place the freaking race card. Sooner or later it''''s going to backfire against all of us, unless we teach our children to get along with each other instead of hating like like teir parents taught them.
I agree they should be punished for hanging the nooses, but is that as bad as ambushing one lone individual by six individuals who, after he lost conciousness, continued to attack him? Especially since he was not the one who hung the nooses. - Reply to this comment

I was the FOOL who asked that qwuestion. I merely asked when does it go from hate to art? A black man recently made a display of the Confederate Battle Flag (aka:Stars-N-Bars) from a noose, and everyone applauded it as artistic expression. Some could view it as a hate crime towards southern whites.
I also asked if it could be construed as freedom of speech/expression. If so it would be protected under the Constitution and any "hate crime" laws about it would and should then be ruled unconstitutional. - Reply to this comment

Thats what fuels this fire year after year, decade after decade. People need to learn to let go and move forward.
I wish everything was equal, I teach my daughters not to hate. But that doesn''t mean the family down the street does the same. - Reply to this comment
