14-Year-Old Who Felt Bullied Amassed Guns, Knives And Grenades For Possible School Attack
- Wow, all this gun knowledge is very impressive(NOT)
But tell us, oh great hunters and gun enthusiasts--if a kid decides to take this 9mm or another gun to a school and shoot someone--can it or can it not kill a person? See, the hole in all the talk and expertise is the fact that this kid has said he wanted to do some payback, has guns that can shoot bullets, has videos of the Columbine shootings (which may demonstrate a fixation) and is assembling grenades.
Now, you can talk about hunting or how the writer did not know his guns--but the point is that a child is amassing weaponry at the same time as he is obsessed with killing at a highschool. Is it just talk? Who knows--but wouldn''t any of us hate to be wrong and watch or learn that even one person was killed because they did not take this kid and his notebooks seriously?
And yes I am a gun owner--but I am also a mother who would never buy her kids weapons or encourage a fixation with them. I find it not more than a little curious that most sociopaths who go on to be serial killers--have a fixation not only with weapons but also with using knives to torture and skin small animals. Not saying this is the case here--but this is disturbing --and I don''t care how far the gun can shoot--If it can shoot a bullet--then someone can die from it. - Reply to this comment
- It would appear that the mother is complicit. I find it odd that the government would arrest a teen for claiming to want to do a Virginia Tech style massacre in an email--but hesitate to prosecute to the full extent of the law - a child that has not only the weaponry, but has also indicated he would like to perform such an act.
To say he was just "kidding" or wanting to look tough, negates the fact he had already assembled grenades, had the weaponry, was surrounded by videos and notebooks full of violence. Obviously, his parents must be some people with clout or connections--other wise the police would not be so understanding and would already have busted the parents for not only being accessories--but also for contributing to deliquency of a minor. - Reply to this comment
- I was glad to see SOMEBODY actually got to the heart of this growing problem in this blog. PARENTS ..... if your child is a bully, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to correct this behavorial flaw in your child by WHATEVER MEANS NECCESSARY !!!!!! How many of you have seen that stupid (expletive) bumper sticker that reads "My kid can beat up your A student" ? Can your kid survive a .45 to his chest ?! Methinks NOT !!!! It''s high time we stopped dismissing "BULLYS" as just another stage of adolescense. IT IS GETTING INNOCENT CHILDREN KILLED.

- Someone said, "Look at the time-line of when prayer was removed from schools and the trend of mass shootings in schools. We can''t be this blind can we?"
Strange, I NEVER prayed in school. Yet I''ve NEVER shot anyone either! Didn%u2019t seem to work on me!
BTW, What timeline are you using? When do YOU think "prayer was removed from school"?
Church and State were SEPARATED AT BIRTH in this country, but various forms of prayer have taken place in school, AND STILL DO, TO THIS VERY DAY.
Basically, I think that Republicans and Christians will just believe any old *** that happens to support their current set of prejudices-- prejudices which actually shift radically over time-- and they absolutely refuse to believe anything that does not conform to their current prejudices, EVEN IF the thing they refuse to believe has been proven scientifically, beyond any reasonable doubt, to be true.
In other words, they are all legally IN-SANE. - Reply to this comment
- "Is our Childrens learning?" asked the Chimp.
"Yes, they''ve learned to use guns to kill people that irritate them" is the reply brought to you by this and the other recent stories of kids and their guns.
WE DON''T NEED ANY MORE GUNS IN THIS COUNTRY! We already have more than enough to kill ourselves with (90 guns per each 100 people). The NRA can just get stuffed!!
What was that kid''s mother thinking when she bought her 14 year old a 9mm assault rifle? They must be "survivalist Christians" aka terrorists, given that they live in PA and are home schooling, both groups being mostly "Christians". - Reply to this comment

I thought that was one of the best pranks I have ever seen. (wish we had thought of it) I don''t think they should have done anything to those kids except take them to the other school and make them apologize at assembly. (but I still laugh at the thought of it.) brains like that should be rewarded not penalized. - Reply to this comment

100% agreement. If you are female, did you attend a bithday party in ''98 for a member of the Babylon 5 chat group in NY? If not, no prob. - Reply to this comment
- What they need is a coach with an aerodynamic board who knows how to hand out licks to the bullies, punks, and bozos. Put metal detectors at the gate of the schools and give the authority back to the parents and teachers to discipline their kids in love. When the government makes prayer, the bible, and discipline illegal in the public schools, it sends a message that the walls are down and the gate is open to whatever you want to do. Look at the time-line of when prayer was removed from schools and the trend of mass shootings in schools. We can''t be this blind can we?
