Religion belongs in the home and in the conduct of its adherents, not as a taxpayer funded coercion.

brainbwb......your approach has failed miserably and will continue to do so. There was never any coercion only the offended consciences of those who refused to acknowledge the depravity of minds without God.

As well they should have done. For many of us, it seemed a perversion of religion to mouth meaningless syllables about a diety, then learn the lies taught as "history" where our ancestors were enslaved, or victims of genocide (both sides of my family) and hear the perpetrators lionized as heroes, our grades, and consequently our futures being dependent on accepting the false facts taught after the "prayer".

Religion belongs in the home and in the conduct of its adherents, not as a taxpayer funded coercion.

Young lass/lad yer say illegal dear I aint missing the point my room mate has family in the law. I would rather they say God over F you. Yer want to say it fine to have smart asre kids too bloody good to do what is right. Yet you say it fine to take a gun to school when that is illegal, yer raising punks that do this behaviour. They rather rip yer fack off. Lovely. My sighted room mate is scared for my safety as he makes me carry a bloody cell that I hate to carry. They shot up a school yer ask why.. When I was in high school I said grace in my heart fore I ate my lunch at school. They run wild in school cos they can, Talk about the constution,Bush said *it just a god d@nm piece of paper*. Fine yer can thank the nanny govt. In fact in was 1954. The year of my birth they hauled prayer out of school. A big error on the govt.

This story is an illustration of the "overcrowding principle", pack them in, with limited resources and necessities, you get anarchy, even insects are subject to it.

Of course, the NRA would say that if all the teachers and students had guns, this could have been prevented.

And all you God freaks, God, if such exists, were an all powerful fact, rather than an individually interpreted belief, Its presence, would be undeniable, there would be no need for "acceptance", for how can one "reject" omnipotence? For one word that appears in a story only tangentially related, all the religious roaches come out of the woodworks to try again to impose their beliefs on others.

Years ago the so called "child experts" called for an end to the strap and other contact punishment for misbehaving kids lamenting about the psychological damage done by spanking. Later these "experts" who for the most never had children of their own, advocated more rights for kids and less rights for parents. So now little Johnny or Mary got an 800 number to call if those overbearing parents threatend to discipline you. THe "experts "also said kids don''t need morales, resposibility, discipline, both parents, God,prayer, ect, ect, in schools or at home. I wonder on what or who the "experts" will blame the latest trend of kids killing each other.Maybe its high time to to place the real expert back in control before our "great" minds become our own end

did you see the kids on KID NATION chose the BIBLE
over golf and the girl that graciously invited kids to prayer meeting won the $20,000 gold star? vote by the kids!

did you know that madalyn o''hara, the woman who went to bat to get prayer out of the schools, became the mother of a CHRISTIAN PASTOR? his choice. not hers.

give the kids the choice the BIBLE or the gun in these tinderbox schools. when people learn to guard their own mouth, and speak kindly, they DON''T NEED guards at the door of the schoolhouse.

how many times does mike peek, age 14, punch somebody in the face just for bumping in to him? the place must have been a tinderbox.

everyone needs their head examined. "there were signs". its probably obvious this kid knew more about the video arcade and hollyweird, than sunday school. kids get height and weight recorded and eyes and ears tested. kids get IQ tests. if they were psychologically tested how many would be in the sciopath or psychotic category? "there were signs".

MichelleM99- you miss the point. The point being, how ironic that we are calling on God inside an institution where it is illegal to do so. That is the point! Wouldn''t you agree?

Yer want to throw the bloody constution in our face. Fine. If that kid was so scared as of the gun shoots that she cryed oh my god. Shut that pie hole lad. Yer hell bent to kick a kid out of school. When yer do they fall behind in their lessons. Than yer pissed that kid is not in school but running the streets. They have to be in school. No kid should have guns as they are not of age.

Who, in their ding dong right mind doesn''t think that God Almighty''s presence is not needed on the campuses of our public schools NOW MORE THAN EVER! Wouldn''t you rather send your children to a place where God is welcome instead of shutting Him out and letting everything else in, because we don''t want to say the pledge of Allegience as long as God is included in the pledge. What''s it gonna take before we finally admit we actually NEED GOD?

"They were screaming and they were saying, ''Oh my God, Oh my God'', I knew something was wrong but thought that it was just a fight, so I just kept going." Listen to us.....we know something is wrong, and we just keep going the same direction. We call on God but we don''t want to listen to God or even have Him in our thoughts. Oh my God, she said, "Oh my God" on campus of a public school. Can she do that? I think somebody better suspend her....doesn''t she know that she has to separate her expression of her Christian faith while on campus? This is outrageous. Guns and God on the same campus...somebody better put a stop to this breach of the constitution.

Why is it as easy to buy a gun as it is a candy bar? People say we can''t do background checks for fear of invading someones privacy, can''t have a 3 day waiting period. We are talking about something that can change a life in the blink of an eye. Nobody is advocating against your right to bear arms, but with that right, comes responsiblity that they will be stored properly and not find their way onto the streets. This is becoming far to common in our schools. And for the idiot that thinks teachers and such should be able to carry guns in school, where is you head at, what makes you think these folks are any more stable than anyone else. It''s a school, place of learning. Not a shooting gallery.

It''''s sad what teachers and educators have to contend with in trying to help some of these troubled kids...

............

There is a growing shortage of teachers in our schools as many of them are retiring and very few are being replaced.

It''s hard enough to recruit good people to become teachers in our society now, but when there''s the greater possibility of being shot while on the job, that makes recruiting teachers even more difficult.

This supports the argument why teachers and other personal should be allowed to carry a handgun.

Columbine, V-Tech, Mississippi, Cleveland, Washington, Oregon, etc. etc. etc., etc., etc., there is something seriously wrong here when children/college students have to be afraid to attend school...

Here''s the crux of the matter folks: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction"(Pro.1:7). To fear the Lord is to hold Him in highest respect, moreso than anyone or anything. This is the BEGINNING, the start, the dawn of knowledge in anyone''s mind and heart. In other words, until you put got in the proper place, of highest respect, YOU DON''T KNOW ANYTHING! This is why we see sooooo many fools caught in their foolishness.....because they despise wisdom and instruction. The ones always saying, "don''t tell me what to do", and, "I will do what I want". You are headed toward a brick wall at 100mph.
