I AM GLAD THAT MYCHEAL BELL IS OUT OF JAIL, HOWEVER I PRAY THAT "WHITES" RESIDENTS OF JENA, LA STOP STATING THAT THIS INCIDENT WASN''T RACILLY MOTIVATED, BECAUSE IF THE TABLE WERE TURNED AROUND MEANING IF THE WHITE BOYS WHO BEAT UP THE BLACK STUDENT WHO ATTENDED A "WHITE ONLY" PARTY WAS BEING PROSECUTED FOR 2ND- DEGREE MURDER THEY WOULD BE GOING CRAZY TRYING TO PROTEST AS WELL. THEREFORE THE WHITES IN JENA NEED TO REALIZES THEIR MISTAKES AND OWN UP TO THEM. ANOTHER THING IF THE WHITES IN JENA ARE NOT RACIST THEN TELL ME THIS WHO STATE STATEMENT SUCH AS "OUR BLACKS LIKE IT HERE IN JENA", THE BLACKS IN JENA ARE NOT YOUR BLACKS THEY ARE YOUR NEIGHBORS YOU DO NOT OWN THEM.

Well, I personally think that the boys should be charged with more than what they are getting. They nearly killed someone. Yes, what the white boys did by hanging nooses was wrong. But no one physically got hurt. And here you have a slew of boys that beat the boy almost to death. So yes they should be punished as an adult.
Even the boys who hung the nooses should get in trouble, but beating them nearly to death was not the answer.

It''s amazing how people can grow up in this nation and have no more knowledge of the basic rights we all SHOULD hold so dear. Here we have a case where it is so obvious that Racist are teaching kids the meaning of long ago hatreds and how to play out those hatreds. Here we have Parents sending their children to school so bound up in hatred that they create a "whites only" tree and hang nooses in that tree when blacks stand under it. I grew up in the "Equal but different" time in this nation and anyone who can''t see past the fact that a Teen Black got in a fight with a Teen White, is so hung up on making sure all the Blacks who are "Out of line" are locked up, they have no knowledge or ability to understand the long black history of criminal conduct amoung those who want to lock up this TEENAGED Black Youth for 15 YEARS. I can still remember as if it were yesterday, that preacher visiting my school to "teach" us about how Blacks should stay in their place! IF you have ever in your simple and small little life EVER fought for ONE, just ONE of the rights we hold so dear, you would have a different take on this. Where is your activism? If you think the 13 year old is being unjustly treated, why don''t you do something about it? Because you''re "white"? The injustice we protest happens to everyone, but since the numbers show that it happens disproportionately to "Black" people, we protest. If you were really concerned, you might start by helping to protest it wherever, and to whatever "group" it occurs rather than deriding those trying to protect "their own".

I''m not sure what is just in this case, but there is definitely something fishy going on in that DA''s office. If the Jena 6 are guilty of attempted murder, then so is this white boy at the party. Otherwise, they should all get probation.
