Iraq denied having weapons of mass destruction and offered to allow U.N. weapons inspectors to return for the first time since 1998. Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Tawab Al-Mulah Huwaish called the allegations lies (now we know why)and offered to let U.S. officials inspect plants they say are developing nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
''If the American administration is interested in inspecting these sites, then they''re welcome to come over and have a look for themselves,'' he said.
The White House immediately rejected the offer.
Love the comparisons. Where did you say you were educated? Oh, you weren''t educated. Gee, I''m so sorry. Reading the joke of an analogy you posted is beyond believe. It only shows how desperate you loonies are to prove a point. Gee, I''m so sorry he won two elections. It obviously blew away your mind. I would like to be polite, but this is too hysterical to deprive anyone of laughing their head off.

To just walk out was not an insult to them, but to us. It shows the world that this warmongering nation won''t listen to a different side, won''t give you a chance to speak once it''s made up its'' mind to unleash the arsenal of war, instead of diplomacy, won''t consider any alternative to destroying thousands more civilians and countries. The list goes on.
The fear that they have crafted so seamlessly into this country will be its'' absolute downfall. This is no longer a country of ideas and inspirations, it has become about fear and survival. How did we let our own leaders turn the tide of hope on this country so that we always feel outside the realm of safe, where we can pursue our happiness?
It''s a real shame, and these are dark times for many of us.
A true Christian would not smear his beliefs on a message board, are you that desperate to make a point?
Just in case your memory is failing in typical American fashion, or you are in denial:
We went to the UN concerning Iraq, and they refused to sanction miltary action, so we called them ineffectual. Saddam denied having WMD and we called him a liar. We demanded inspections, and Saddam allowed them. We demonized Wilson and outed Plame for contradicting our claims. Blix said there weren''t any WMD, and we called him incompetent. Strangely, whatever people like Hannity or Santorum say, Bush himself and the DoD says we didn''t find any WMD. We had full intention of invading Iraq, no matter what happened, and we did.
Why should things be any different in Iran, regardless of what Ahmadinejad does?
Also, he stated long ago that he has no intention whatever of ending the war in Iraq during his term of office. He said quite clearly that that was somebody else''s problem, that of the next president. What does he care if he ignites WW3 or what kind of mess he makes for us in the world, since he won''t have to clean it up? Silver spooners aren''t accustomed to cleaning up their own messes. The Republicans probably WANT Hillary to win, at this point, because no matter what happens abroad as a result of Bush''s incompetence, they can blame it on her. At least Bill Clinton had the decency not to start a war over the USS Cole in his final few months in office and then hand it over to Bush.
Thomas Jefferson, letter to Edward Carrington, May 27, 1788
"The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government."
Thomas Jefferson, letter to The Republican Citizens of Washington County, Maryland, March 31, 1809
"This was the object of the Declaration of Independence. Not to find out new principles, or new arguments, never before thought of, not merely to say things which had never been said before; but to place before mankind the common sense of the subject, in terms so plain and firm as to command their assent, and to justify ourselves in the independent stand we are compelled to take. Neither aiming at originality of principle or sentiment, nor yet copied from any particular and previous writing, it was intended to be an expression of the American mind, and to give to that expression the proper tone and spirit called for by the occasion."
Thomas Jefferson, letter to Henry Lee, May 8, 1825
"We have failed in our duty to provide an example to the world of a just government."
