This is stupid, and I do mean Stupid!!!!!!!!!!

These planes have flown over the United States since the 1950s with Hydrogen bombs. They use to be bigger then a VW Beatle. Every B-52 during the cold war that took off out of the United States was loaded with a nuclar weapons. That was the purpose of this type of airplane. That is what they were designed for.

For over 50 years we have not dropped one, so what is the big deal with this one?????????

I doubt there is some mass build of weapons going to Iran. It only takes a couple of planes from Ramstien base Germany and im sure the loads are already there. Ill push my luck and say even Bush can not be that stupid. I would think China and Russia would have some major problems with fallout reaching their countries. That would be a very dangerous game. Im also sure Iran is very well aware of our ability to remove it from the gene pool in minutes. As far as the towers being an inside job you looking at a lot of explosives and people to plant them in a building that big open 24/7 somebody would have seen something even the guy sweeping the floor. In this day and age things come out all the time. It%u2019s not so easy to hide an area 51 anymore. There are eyes everywhere from the cameras they place to watch you to your eyes that watch them. Not quite larsie, but inspections of imports are strangely lax when it comes to large US companies importing the stuff, while the average Joe has to remove his shoes for inspection.

wow... another country that is not able to handle nukes. The UN should pass a resolution to force them to give up all nukes and inisist that they submit to full and open inspections to confirm this. If they do not co-operate, an international military coalition should be formed to go in and remove the weapons of mass destruction and any obstructing leaders. There is a precedent for all of this.

It is highly unlikely that a precise series of mistakes led to the endangerment of the US by its own military.

Each "why" has a name behind it, who is responsible for disarming decommissioned missiles, Who is responsible for checking ordnance being loaded on planes, ultimately who is in charge of maintaining an accurate and up to date inventory of nuclear weapons, each of these people should be court martialed for dereliction of duty, and do some Leavenworth.

And all this c*rap about secrecy is just covering the a*s*ses of some people who deserve to be punished for the sake of insuring that such "mistakes" in the future don''t happen. After the investigation, the parts not directly required to be kept classified should be immediately made public.

This is another one of those things for which the media will be chastising itself with crocodile tears, not questioning and following up, should the worst happen, and we wind up again counting the dead attacked by our own government.
