""We felt very threatened and intimidated, and quite frankly, scared," Anna Bartha said. "

LOL
Harass and be harassed in return.

Serves the old geezers right, trying to harass and mess with the wrong guy over a MEASLY $1500. LOL

Now they "don''''t live at the address" anymore. That''''s funny. LOL

This is NOT news. Of course this is the THIRD time CBS has reported this story. Is has yet to generate the "buzz" they are hoping for. "We just gotta get the dang Republicans anyway we can". Give it a rest already.

The correct response would have been for the congressman to simply produce proof that the couple''s claims are false, providing them to the paper and to the couple themselves and requesting the correction be made. Contacting them directly - by phone - and issuing threats is hardly what should be considered proper for an elected official.

It sounds more like the couple nailed him good, and he reacted with the threat of a lawsuit. It''s pretty sleazy and underhanded, but all too typical of the GOP and the lowlife vermin the party now consists of.

Doug Lamborn and the Barthas are my new heroes. Rabid foaming-at-mouth liberals like me will just sit back and watch as the neocons set themselves on fire.

Gotta luv it!!! Yessss!!

I think the Senator intended to refute the claims that the acts defined were within the ''moral limits which caring individuals can embrace'' since he says in his voicemail that he want to try "resolve this on a Scriptural level". I agree with the Barthas that his voicemail is threatening.

This was a theme on Big Love this season- that Good Christians have no problem with profiting from the sins of others and don''t see facilitating sin as a sin in and of itself. Apparently Lamborn took that little TV sermon to heart.

Libel and slander are not protected under Freedom of Speech in the Constitution.

If the couple want to make public statements like this, they have to be truthful or they could be sued.
