George W. Bush Telling His Own Trifecta Joke

President''s Remarks at GOP Luncheon, 2-27-02
Remarks by the President to Robin Hayes for Congress and Elizabeth Dole for Senate
North Carolina Republican Party Luncheon, Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, North Carolina

Bush: You know, I was campaigning in Chicago and somebody asked me, is there ever any time where the budget might have to go into deficit? I said only if we were at war or had a national emergency or were in recession. (Laughter.) Little did I realize we''d get the trifecta. (Laughter.)

They say I shot a man named Gray and took his wife to Italy.
She inherited a million bucks and when she died it came to me.
I can''t help it if I''m lucky. - Bob Dylan

"It also gives us a very special, secret pleasure to see how unaware the people around us are of what is really happening to them."
- Adolf Hitler

American Airlines - "9/11 Didn''t Happen"

Daily Kos
Sunday, August 26, 2007

WikiScanner discovered that American Airlines changed their Wikipedia entry to state that Flights 11 and 77 never flew on 9/11.

Original entry was:

Two American Airlines aircraft were hijacked and crashed during the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack: American Airlines Flight 77 (a Boeing 757) and American Airlines Flight 11 (a Boeing 767).

New entry is:

Two American Airlines aircraft were hijacked and crashed during the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack: Flight 77 (a Boeing 757) and Flight 11 (a Boeing 767). Although these flights were daily departures before and a month after September 11, 2001. Neither flight 11 nor 77 were scheduled on September 11, 2001. The records kept by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (www.bts.gov/gis/) do not list either flight that day.

A Google search of the IP address that made the change - 144.9.8.21 - is located at American Airlines.

Why the change American airlines? Did the flights actually operate or did we just imagine all of that?

Contractors don''t give a *** about the U.S. government. All they care about is how much money they can squeeze out of them. $$$$$$$$.
The press is filled with such stories every day.
Corruption & fraud is rampant. Uncle Sam is getting fleeced left & right. Bush-Cheney don''t seem to care.

Why penalize Federal employees who are trying to bring it to the attention of the authorities?
Investigate their claims. Look into it. Take it
seriously. Why would these Federal employees make it up?

This is inexcusable. Congress needs to do something about it now. Lower the boom on these contractors & criminals. Get off your fat butts!

If you actually believe the US government wants to win in Iraq you are naive indeed. It''s all about making fortunes for the GOP insiders who have the fast track to the enormous ca$h flows going into support of the occupation. When a whistle blower on illegal weapons trade is treated like the enemy you know its time to take a very hard look at the situation. The real enemy we must fear most is within.

Here''''s the real story -
-- Iraqi deaths doubled,,, Congressmen went to Iraq on last visit for the usual Petreaus presentation & typical showboat guided tour all Rosey..
,, Iraq leaders say the US is still in charge of everything including appointing governemt & intel officials,
,, There still is not 1 Irarqi leading thier missions --
--- It is still the same "Wackamo" as it was 4 years ago,, & we have limited control of part of Bagdad & a few cities...
.. Our America''''s Own Republicans Are Sworn To Party Loyalty Rather Than Honor To America

Republicans, under Bush''s leadership, have turned our government into a giant criminal enterprise that exists only to enrich themselves and their friends. They use disasters like Iraq and Katrina to steal billions from the American people. They wrap themselves in the flag in a fake show of patriotism while vilifying and smearing anyone who questions their criminal activities.

Whistle blowers used to have protections under the law and an honored place in our society. Republicans have criminalised these people, turning real values upside down.
