Tom Stewart said, "Everything in your life is tainted by being abused as a boy." This is true of any kind of abuse of children, girls or boys. He happens to be right. I was physically abused by my father, and I''m convinced I won''t be free of those horrible memories until I''m dead. Abusers leave their victims feeling half-dead, and a lot of us will feel this way for the rest of our lives.

This is why all child abusers should be put to death.

OMG - this is horrible - there is literally no area that the animals haven''t infilitrated to abuse children.

That the agencies, churches, synagogues, schools, etc. knew about and protected themselves and the abuser not the child is reprehensible - utterly reprehensible.

I was a Scout for 5 years when I was a kid and there were always rumors about things like this happening, but I never saw anything like it first hand so I just thought it was kids trying to get Scoutmasters they didn''t like in trouble. It is troubling however to find out that the Scouts knew these cases were going on, but still "The organization aggressively guards the contents of the files". This is not the kind of honor I always thought they were trying to teach.
