Is it time to ask Bu$h why we have to spend $450 BILLION when all we needed was ''heightened awareness'' of possible terrorists?
Thats what the rest of the world does...

I served in the Marine Corps for 22 years.

Seven pesos. Why don''t you publish your name, address and phone number??

Do you have the courage to mouth off with your totally disrespectful comments to or about the dead and those serving to my face??

I await your contact information.

My deepest and most sincere regrets and condolence to the families of those KIA''s.

Semper Fi Marines. RIP.

It still is a tough bird. They don''t lose very many.

And I like your assessment of seven-pesos.

My nephew is over there. Thanks for 66-70.

seven-pesos, you are no doubt a mouth breathing idiot. My son is currently serving in Iraq, putting his life on the line to protect insensitive scum like you.

You should be hunted down like the animal you are and beaten to a bloody pulp and left in the desert to dry out.

MM; I was a U.S. Army helicopter pilot 1966 to 70. The attrition was unbelievable as you mentioned, I lost many friends during my two tours. I flew over 2,800 hours in the UH-1 %u201CHuey%u201D in my career, that''s like being in the air non-stop for 116+ days straight. I assure you that there is nothing to rival the adrenalin rush of flying low and as fast as you can with the enemy firing small arms at you. I had two %u201CHuey%u2019s%u201D shot down, one every tour, it was a very tough bird.

Four young men died and one is injured because they were actually out there serving their country, and all some of you can do is try to push your lopsided political views. Have a little respect. Or at least go to an article that actually pertains to politics.

Seven-pesos:

Bash Bush. He deserves it. but bashing the troops is so not cool.
They are just as much, in fact even more, the victims of this current regime and they do their jobs bravely.
Someday we may actually need them to keep a world that now hates us from taking us down.

I hate to be a nitpicker, but the Helicopter crashed in Imperial County, California. They were stationed at M C A S Yuma and were training. The crash site was found near Ferduson Lake, near the Colorado River, on the California side of the border. My info comes from the Imperial County Coroners office. I work for an Imperial County Radio station and was the first to break the storey this morning.

When I was in the Army I had considered trying to become a helicopter pilot. Starting to think that it was a good idea that I didn''t pursue it. The mortality rate for helicopter crashes must be insane. I wonder how long it will be before somebody creates a helicopter parachute system to keep them from dropping like stones. The idea is quite simple, if not the execution. The props eject, a parachute is ejected and inflated with a gas charge, and a spring rig to dampen the snapback.
Simple.

Classic. Service members die and republicans make a joke out of it. They do not care about our service members no matter where they are.
