Man Who Blogs About His Attraction To Young Girls Had Been Near UCLA Day Care Center With Camera
- If he is taking pictures of young girls and posting them on a website and telling other perverts where they can be found, he is violating the privacy rights of these children, and volating the law.
Not true. You can be photographed anywhere you do not have an expectation of privacy. Home or in a restroom. Anywhere in public is fair game. If my home security camera also records you in your yard it is ok. - Reply to this comment

Not actually true. Unsustantiated claim by 1 ex-employee to third rate news organization. Statement "grew legs" and became urban legend. - Reply to this comment

- Why doesn't someone in California just do an old-fashioned Midnight-Callin' on this dude and tow him and his car out to the Nevada state line and "borrow" the air out of his tires?

Actually someone should "borrow" something else that is more vital to his existence. Hint: It's red...

- What the rich and powerful can get away with:
Kelsey Grammer - star of the Emmy-winning comedy "Frasier." In 1995, authorities in Arizona decided not to prosecute Grammer for statutory rape, and a New Jersey grand jury declined to indict him on the same charge. Both accusations were made by the same 17-year-old girl.
Don Johnson - At fourteen, Melanie Griffith left home to move in with the actor who was then twenty-two. Johnson has never voiced any concern about the wisdom of having an affair with such a young girl. In fact, Johnson claims that Melanie was the aggressor in the relationship. "She pursued me", he told Entertainment Weekly.
Rob Lowe - TV and film star. Former brat packer. Back in 1988 Lowe taped himself in compromising positions with a 16-year-old girl and a young woman. Lowe agreed to perform 20 hours of community service to avoid criminal charges.
Roman Polanski - The director fled the country in 1979 rather than face sentencing for the statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl. The Polish film director went to a more understanding Europe, where he promptly established a relationship with the then 15-year-old Nastassja Kinski. Polanski can't return to the States for fear of arrest.
Michael Kennedy - Bobby Kennedy's son, exposed for statutorily raping his children's
underage baby-sitter, and then attempting to destroy her when word got out.
These people are sick and so are the people who let them get off. - Reply to this comment

That may be true, however, the Gonzales cover-up of the Texas Youth Commission scandal is not a hoax.

- Thanks Mo005 for the tip, sounds like he's just trying to stir up the fecal matter. We've been dealing with this guy for weeks out here. People need to understand that it's not so much a matter of him taking pictures of kids, and maybe he hasn't touched any kids, at least not IN THE UNITED STATES, and that's according to him, it's a matter of him posting the editable pictures and commentary on a website that facilitates other pedophiles. Apparently the website was a virtual how to guide. Yes he's ill, the illness is in his head, I recommend we amputate.

- If the guy has NEVER laid hands on a child then he has done nothing wrong.

Your theory makes sense.
If a student can be arrested or suspended for writing a creative paper about shooting up a classroom or a teacher, then there's got to be a similar law somewhere that can nail guys like this based on the on-line posting of minors.

- This is more than a thought crime. This is the next step towards action. He's using our social loophole of protecting the predator to wave it all in our faces. "Catch me if you can; I'm legally immune." If he never personally commits a crime, he will certainly inspire someone else to.

- "He's touching her in his mind, and that would be a death sentence if it were my daughter!!!!!"
Let the rest of us know when you intend to start acting on these psychic impulses, ok? Can you tell if the old guy who volunteers at the school crosswalk in the afternoons is touching children in his mind, too? After all, why do you suppose he volunteers his time? Good thing someone like you is around, with your psychic powers.
I agree about the "against their will" caveat, however. People need to hold themselves responsible for the use of their own crotches. This extends to many more areas than just illicit contact with children---particularly over-population and lack of parenting skills or commitment (which might be indicated, say, by a parent who gives a 16-year old child a handgun, or permits a 'worshiping crowd of young men' around a 14-year old girl).
The fact that the rescidivism rate is considerably lower for such offenders than it is for other types of criminals (sorry, another bubble burst) is irrelevant, though. This isn't the sort of crime any child should have to enudre once. - Reply to this comment
- Taking pictures in public is not a crime. Get over it.

That alone is not a crime. Posting them specifically for the use of others who are looking to break the law would be considered, IMO, aiding/abetting criminal activity.

- Conspiracy theories are a waste of brain cells:
From Wikipedia:
The Franklin Coverup Hoax began on June 29, 1989, when the front page of the Washington Times bore the headline Homosexual Prostitution Inquiry ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush, and officially ended when a grand jury concluded that the charges were a "carefully crafted hoax", - Reply to this comment

- "McClellan, who said he lives on supplemental security income and suffers from depression, has maintained that he launched the site as a form of therapy and wouldn't do anything illegal."
Even if he lives out of his car like the article says, you can't live on SSI. And you sure as heck can't afford to run a web site on SSI out of your car unless you subscribe to broadband at about 70 per month. Hmmmmm. Curiouser and curiouser said Alice.

- what a scumbag this guy is. He is just trying to find ways he can justify crimes against children in his mind. People like that are neither rahabbed nor capable of being rehabbed.
He needs to be locked up forever.
We need to have federal sentences & not leave it up to the states to have their myriad of ideas on incarceration.
If you are an adult & you prey on teens, you need a long sentence. Like 10-20 yrs with no parole + counseling weekly.
If you are an adult & you prey on kids 10-13, you have a serious mental problem that is out of control. You Need Long term Jail time like 30 yrs & a Beating once a week.
If you are an adult & you prey on younger than 10, you are even sicker! & pure evil.. Instant Life in prison with general population.
Or just execution.
Trying to "Rehab" most of these predators just puts them back on the street with no good ways to keep them from doing it again, harming your children, & sometimes killing them.
Who wants these guys in their neighborhood? who wants to work with them? who wants to have any contact or risk their children's safety with them around at all? The current penalties are Not enough deterrant. - Reply to this comment
Rillifane,
Thousands and thousands of kids all over the country, walk to their gradeschool everyday. Mine did.
I doubt if you would have just told your girl to "Don't talk to strangers" if you saw this guy stalking her.
If that's your real answer, I doubt if you ever had kids.
I have two daughters, one still in grade school. If I knew or saw that happening, I would confront the guy, and there would be a scene. An ugly one.

- '"I don't think any child should be touched sexually or non-sexually against their will," he said.'
Children's 'will' doesn't enter into the equation, loser. As long as there is a predator near, it is the predator's will that is illegal.
So often we hear "they liked it", or "they made me do it" from an offender. - Reply to this comment
