Churchill may have it right:
1) US government has pursued policy of genocide against Native Americans and Federal Indian law is a tool of the murderers against native people,
2) Smallpox may or may not have been deliberately inflicted upon the Mandan--it certainly was deliberately inflicted upon some New England tribes--but it's a theory worthy of investigation
3) What Canadian environmental group? What are the facts?
4) Some of the WTC folks were rather like little Eichmans, no doubt. Most of them were innocent bystanders, but so are most of the Iraqis killed by the Iraq war. What do you think happens when the US Air Force drops a 500 pound bomb on a mud brick apartment building full of families just because one guy is shooting out of one window?

I am not defending Prof. Churchill and too feel he should have exercised better judgment, but there is legitimacy to one of his claims. I too am a historian, and the Mandan Tribe was entirely wiped out by smallpox, and there is an abundance of scholarly literature proving it. And it should be noted that the U.S. army did use smallpox as a biological weapon. I am not sure what sources Prof. Churchill used to cite the 1837 incident, but these facts are not coincidental.
