Sorry for the double posting. I'm brand new here. When the "publish button will be enabled shortly" came up, and my comment didn't disappear like on other sites, I thought that meant I had to push the publish button again. Aren't you glad I didn't do it again?? Y'all take care.

Hell on earth and when we leave the homes as adults still all messed up. It is the money not the love of the child. This cycle will go on and we suffer. Even years later. I feel for other foster kids who are now in them bad homes. I am 52 and I post alot on this site when I need to have my say.

Hillbilly Crackers get bounty from the states' Children and Family Services Departments for taking in foster children - and the more profound the retardation, physical limitation, or mental deficiency, the higher the monthly 'stipend' to the 'foster parent.'

This is exactly what you get. An ugly, manly harridan that undoubtedly spent the cash on her own selfish wants (she doesn't look to malnourished herself!) and ignored the charges entrusted to her by the 'trusting' state.

Of course, this happened in Florida - Jebby Bush and Terry Schiavo-land...where everyone 'values life' until it comes to their own families...then LEAVE ME ALONE! I"M A STATE'S RIGHTS REPUBLISCUM PARTY MEMBER!

It is going to take SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to clean the stain of the Republicrap Party from the face of this tired and shamed Nation!

This reminds me of the family that would keep their "adopted" kids in cages all night long and when they left the home. Some people are just purely psychotic. My guess is this woman kidnapped the mentally disabled and used their social security numbers to get money that was really meant for them. It's unreal what some sick people will do. People like this woman need to be locked up and given psychiatric assessments. My guess is she'll be diagnosed schizophrenic because how could a sane person do what she has done? The "reasoning" behind cuffing the kids and adults very probably is so they could not escape when she left the house. What she did is still wrong, no matter what her motivation.

Talk to me about foster home...my young daugther was at one time put in foster home... by the court...when I visited her...the employee had been up all night partying and sometime I could smell the liquor out of her mouth...later my young daughter while under her care was raped and sent home where today she is strugling with two young babies...

At some of these so call foster homes it is hell on earth...

God blees those kids...

Did our commander in election thief escaped from that Florida woman to lead sleeping Americans?

I wouldn't doubt it; because he does look like someone who should be in cuffs. LOL

To the person who posted below me...please go away. Nothing you wrote is worth reading. What happened to these people is called ABUSE. There's a little thing called humane treatment that most caregivers tend to abide by...HANDCUFFING and BURNING those you are taking care of does not fall into the "humane" category. Maybe you don't understand that. Whether they wanted to eat or not, there's no excuse for this kind of behavior. I hope you don't have kids at home, and if you do, I feel bad for them.

Will you people ever learn that you can't believe everything that you read that is written by a stupid newsman...All they want is a story so they lose sight of reality. So where would these poor people be if this woman hadn't taken them in??? maybe they refused to eat maybe she had to go to the grocery and was afraid they would hurt themselves or each other. You just don't know the whole story. But you are so quick to judge someone before you learn the whole truth. why don't you stooges get a life and quit judging others.

"None of the children ever attended school or visited a doctor while in Leekin's care, Vega said."

If nothing else is known how is this known?
