I agree, all people making oppositional comments about the free market, privatization of production, resources and capital, the war on terror, disaster response within the boundries of the U.S. etc. are all liberals and need to either be with those who are in power or shutup. Your comments are quite relevant to the story and I applaud you. You are a true patriot defending the freedom to expect loyalty to the ideology of global trade and privitization which is the foundation of the leaders you so eloquently have spoken in defense of.

Even though determined to be not an act of terror, it is clear the hand of a higher power is sending a warning to New Yorkers and all americans by rattling the wires of collective body public post traumatic stress response.

Nothing!!! I get paid nothing for what I say. I agree more money needs to be spent on infrastructure, but the stem pipes under NY City are probably funded locally by the city or NY State, not the Federal Government. In a city as large as NY, I'm not surprised that there are steam pipes over 80 years old still in use. I'm not fan of President Bush, but I don't think we can blame this one on him, but on former Mayor Gulliani, perhaps.

If i had not Grown up in a third world Country(Fathers Co. shipped us overseas)where things like this happened all the time...Warnings Against ,Opposing factions,Terror etc.. then a Bomb explodes, or a plant blows up, or a car backfires into an "explosion"... ...Many of these Third world Govt.'s saw the benefits to keeping the populace in fear ... I am wondering if we are not seeing some of the same stuff here

With less and less money going to infrastructure,and more and more money going to fight terrorism , we'll see more of these cases of systems falling into disrepair and exploding,and falling down,...We still need to invest money into these systems, or it will be to our detriment.
