Anyone who drives an everyday vehicle [excluding contractors, workers, etc. who need pickups for construction, etc] that gets less than 25 mpg is simply irresponsible, and further escalating our dependancy on foreign oil, more than their share.

Vandalism is wrong. Corporations who make and sell Hummers are also wrong. They should have more corporate responsiblity, care more for our long term dependance on oil, than they do the envivronment.

You are either part of the problem or the solutions.

RE: abortion type argument, liberals support abortion..which of course is a private family, matter not effecting the general population. Excessive oil consumption is not a private matter, and your excessive Hummer to take one person to the post office, does indeed effect me and my fellow citizens.

I do not condone vandalism of low-mileage or high-pollution vehicles, but I would support and lobby for government mandated standards and local restrictions--neighbors and cities can regulate hat vehicles are street legal.

Well no surprise, we can tell no liberals were outraged b/c there is no mention of a vast right wing conspiracy. I'm surprised they don't just stick there head in the sand like they want to do with the terror threat. All the problems and pain and suffering over something to drive. Vandalising is not the message or the right thing to do. So it makes no sense to attack the Hummer even if they are pissed. What did it do to them. nothing. I would think a pickup would have been better as you can do more with it. Oh well I hope the mess works out.

Just wanted to say that anyone I ever met that drives a hummer has been arrogant and egocentric. Probably said something to **** someone off and deserved it.
