Here's an idea: Have their sentence reduced if they agree to 1 month of a 500 calories a day diet. That should give them an idea of what their babies went through.

I say fix em' so they can't reproduce ever again. Oh yeah BTW, put their azzes under the jail. Please make sure they don't have access to a computer and the internet while they are there. I am sure some liberal judge will let them off with just a slap on the wrist so they will eventually get out.

Guess that BIG question of psychology has been answered of Nature versus Nurture, eh? Structured environment over natural environment gets ya every time. Sort of like Cognitive Behavioralism meets Gastalt Freudian psychology meets reality.

But hey aparently they took enough time to feed themselves. They didn't say that the parents were starved.

That's the crux of it, mo.

I can already see where its going to go, the media has already givin them an excuse. They has a new desease, that forced them to place a computer game and completly ignore the kids. But hey aparently they took enough time to feed themselves. They didn't say that the parents were starved.

I am curious as to what the "parents" have to say in defense of their actions, and lack thereof...

Probably that reaching the next level in the game was more important than nurturing their young........

Surely it's bloody obvious how heinous these two so-called "parents" were by neglecting their children. Or why something so obvious has to be acknowledged at all.

Nothing wrong with technology. Those bashing others discussing the relative merits are using technology too...

BTW: Were these parents neurotypicals? Dyslexic? Mentally retarded? Autistic? How come nobody's addressed that question? Probably because most people with PDDs can't manage to get a date, never mind married...

wow, does these two comments even come close to being about these two little kids almost starved to death. You must be related to the two stupid brats that had no buisness even haveing *** in the first place.???? So what about how much they spent on a plasma TV. Its all about how they just let these two little living beings lay there and slowly let their bodies eat themselves away, While they play dungeons and dragons. I say tie them to chairs and make them watch reruns of rosie while everyone eats pizza in front of them.

Two children nearly died, and have probably been damaged for life, and you people are discussing the cost and relative merits of TVs!. Kinda adds credence to the notion of video addiction--all you focused on was the technology.

They should publicly crucify these people, complete with thorn crowns and everything.

Okay, my LCD TV is apparently a miniscule 32" and my computer, new 9 months ago, can now be had for roughly half the price today, so if I had waited 9 months, it'd be a 1/25th instead of 1/20th.

But 46" and above seem not just extravagant, they're ridiculous. Especially with standard DVDs' lower resolution, and the high def DVD battle will be going on for some time... early adoption is rarely a good thing either...

For $50,000 that's one heck of a computer and TV. I got my computer and widescreen TV for less than 1/20th of that figure.
