Lets not just crack the skull lets brake the legs as well and also let us not to forget to decapitate these defenseless babies! Were Oh were will this stop. Where are the people who would defend these helpless babies. Why would mothers cater to being self centered? Why would the fathers continue to be irresponsible? Where is the consciousness of America? I thought this was the land of the free not the dawn of the dead! Where are the voices to silence these crimes that are horrendous in our generation? Our liberty bell rings with an inscription on it " Proclaim liberty throughout all lands and to all the inhabitants thereof." Will America let the Liberty bell ring for these children?

Isn't the governor of this fine state a democrat?? Hasn't this state been under democratic control for decades? So, that being said, how is this due to Republicans??

I am still trying to figure out how the passage of this law is anti abortion when it only prevents late term abortion which is rare to begin with and allows it when it places the mothers life in jeopardy. This is not political or religious and I am a independent.

I for one am glad we have abortions. There's so much less people to feed because of it, less traffic, less crime, less abandoned and dysfunctional children, less welfare, and we have more resources for our own use.
Our quality of life is so much better for all these reasons.
And now that Bush blew it in Iraq there'll be less Republicans to contend with in government and abortion will be left alone for a long, long time.
By the time Republicans come back to Congress in any large numbers we'll have the MTV generation running the country and that will guarantee we'll always have all the abortions we need.
I just hope the MTV generation will also help matters when it comes to legalization, universal health care, and a thorough *** education among other things.
From now on it's Republicans who will be playing defense and that's exactly where we want them at.
Thanks to Bush, Cheney, Delay and all their ilk the USA is finally ours, folks!!!

"Little miracle"? Puh-leeeeze. Every pregnancy is a "little miracle"? Who is adopting all of the unwanted black babies? The Catholic Church?
More emphasis needs to be placed on preventing
pregnancy. Keep religion & morality out of it
unless you're planning to adopt or help support all of the babies that are born. It's 2007. Not
1907. Single men need & want casual *** but they certainly don't want to get a phone call from their girlfriend/one night stand saying their pregnant. Women need to wake up. You're the one that is gonna get pregnant. Make him use a condom. If he says no, hit the road. What is he? God's gift to women? You just have to have *** with him now? Stop playing the victim. No more tears. Take charge of your life, ladies.

For all of those disfunctional pregnant families. Too young pregnant families. Pregnancies get in the way families and such. The list of good loving couples that can't have childred and want to adopt is enormous. Put your child up for adoption and give them a chance. But don't crush it's skull and waste that little miracle.

I can understand a sick, fcuked up woman killing her baby, in the womb or out.

I will never appreciate the witches on the outside who are egging her on to commit the dastardly and devilish deed.

And the murdering so-called doctors should go to jail for a long time; because the so-called doctors should be preserving life and health, but deliberately chose to do the opposite.

If the insane witch wants to kill her baby, LET HER DO IT BY HERSELF ALONE!

No good female WILL EVER aid and abet the murder of babies, NONE!
Those witches should be shunned and made to use plastic dildoz to relive themselves.

No woman ever gets pregnant just so she can have an abortion on purpose.
No, but many use abortion as their main form of birth control.

What about the father? Does he have any right or say in the disposition of his child?

OK, that has to be one of the most whacked things I have ever read. It's simply bizarre beyond words.

I'll say it again: a woman in Louisiana can still kill her baby, she just needs to do it earlier and not wait until the last minute.

Listen, guys, any way you look at it we need abortions. Especially abortions from youngsters who are not ready for parenthood, families who cannot afford another child and also from dysfunctional families who know very well the psychological damage they'll do to the kid if it's born.
The only thing that was ever able to bring down crime rates across the board is abortion and that's exactly what happened in the 70's after abortion became legal.
Besides, no woman ever gets pregnant just so she can have an abortion on purspose. The ones who decide to have one is because they have a good reason for it and they'll talk about it with their doctor and therapist before the decision is final.
To those who want to ban abortions I'll say, We get the freaking point already! You are so much better and moral than others. I'm so impressed with you all. Truly.
Now go home and leave everyone else the f' alone.

OH...Your ignorance has done you in once again SKYK and RANDAL. No person who supports the right to life is weeping over the fact that our love of life is alienating you. We could not care less if you are in anguish over the fact that we oppose the butchery and the MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY OF ABORTION. We in fact ask the question "Hundreds of millions of abortions and you are the ones who got through?"

Quote
"Anti-abortion activists call the procedure "partial-birth abortion"; surgeons and abortion rights activists call it "dilation and extraction." It involves partially removing the fetus intact from a woman's uterus, then puncturing or crushing the skull.

The Democratic governor on Monday signed legislation requiring that all women seeking an abortion be notified that fetuses can feel pain by 20 weeks gestation, and doctors who perform the procedure to discuss the availability of painkillers for fetuses."

---------------------------------
You don't have to be religous to realize abortion is staright up murder. Many women who have the "procedure" done are haunted for the remainder of their lives. It would be interesting to see how many of them are on anti-depression drugs. I agree...if there is potential for harm to the mother...or if it is a rape or incest issue...there should be exceptions. But women just going to have it done for convenience are truly EVIL and HEARTLESS.

But then again I guess they don't care about women's "right to life", do they!

What flavor Kool-Aid did you drink? You act like abortion is some kind of routinely prescribed treatment for some malady. What malady is it that is so widespread that MILLIONS of babies must have their brains stirred with a pair of scissors and sucked out. Does it save the mother from Stretch-Mark-itis? It is not rare or only done when it imperils the mother...or should we just say HOST? No, it's done to just save face, hide affairs, uncomplicate life, avoid buying a minivan and a whole lot of other reasons that we are not allowed to use as a basis for taking the life of another human-being. It's strange that just hours before birth mommy-dearest can say KILL it and get it the heII out of my precious body, BUT once it is born it magically has protection as a full-fledged member of society. That is simply inexplicable. Why can't she give birth and inspect it and have the "right" to decide that it looks to fat or too small, wrong hair color, features, etc. and say KILL it. After all - it's a WOMAN'S CHOICE RIGHT?

Those who say this has nothing to do with religion are pis*sing in the wind. Of course it does. This procedure is extremely rarely used and is almost never the choice of the woman, so it is NOT a case of "she's irresponsible and just waited too long to have one" garbage. It's nearly always done as strictly a last resort to save the life or health of the woman. However some bible beaters who are hoping to use this as a way to stop all abortions, have taken away the concern for the health of the woman and left just to save the life of. In doing that they have condemned some women to certain death, because instead of a doctor being able to make a purely medical decision, now that doctor will have to worry about some lunatic right to life'er trying to get him or her arrested and sent to prison because this non-doctor nut believes the woman's life "wasn't really" in danger and they performed an illegal abortion. They have taken medical decisions out of the hands of the doctor and put them in the hands of religious nuts and women will die needlessly because of it. But then again I guess they don't care about women's "right to life", do they!
