RandalDS.... the reason that most people would not care if the LA Mayor did the hot tv anchor is because given the chance we would all want to do her, including yourself. So if he does a good job as mayor he probably will get reelected.

I notice you list only Democrats in your diatribe. What about Foley? Newt Gingrich?
Ted Haggert? Jim Bakker? You seem to be missing a few compassionate conservative christian hypocrites.

You act as though only Republicans are hypocrites. Only an ignorant fool would believe that it is limited to just the Republicans. The Democrats are hypocrites too. In fact, everyone in political parties is hypocritical. Political parties are merely adult versions of high school cliches. The party is just a label for them to hide behind.

All people are hypocrites, myself included. The difference is that it is to varying degrees.

HERE'S WHAT LIBERALS SAY IF IT'S A DEMOCRAT WHO GETS CAUGHT
(LA MAYOR)

The people of Los Angeles (of which I am one) care much more about what kind of job he's doing as mayor then who he sleeps with, marries or divorces. he seems to be doing a pretty good job so far, so I predict he'll be re-elected and this will be a minor blip on his way to the governor's mansion in a few years.

Not my words, liberals, they're yours

I did NOT tell Mr. Vitter he was forgiven. I told him "You're forbidden." Cheeesh! I wish these nutty republicans would quit quoting me!

Why am I not surprised? Besides, we should always remember, that a dishonest person we can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the "honest" people we should watch out for. (yeah, I know, bah at me for using a line from a movie, but it works, doesn't it?)

I do agree with you though RingADing3.

ringading: Vitter only "fessed up" after being called by Hustler magazine and informed that he had been busted. That's when he "stood up."

David Vitter will always have my vote. When caught with his hand in the cookie jar, he fessed up and will take his hits. Unlike a former President who lied under oath and lost his law license and helped Al Gore to lose the subsequent election. And even worse there is the Senator who left a young woman at the bottom of a lake to die. And Marion Berry, Mayor of Washington DC who stared on film enjoying cocaine and the company of a ho. Please don't forget William Cold Cash Jefferson who has yet to face the music. And the current Mayor of Los Angles who gives new meaning to the phrase "being in bed with the media".

You're right Candy, my bad. But the point is he called for all these resignations based on marital infidelity while he was campaigning. In fact, he is credited with the fall of Bob Livingston because of his affairs. Of course, affairs of the heart are apparently more immoral than paying some hooker a thousand bucks for "around the world." Vitter is a hypocrite, period.

Vitter is just another hypocrite that preaches his Bu$% Sh#$ to us, while he is banging prostitutes on the side. It is amazing to me that anyone still listens to people that preach to them. The ones that preach the most, typically have the most to hide.

nothing good comes out of the south!

That's a matter of opinion. Some Southerners may feel the same way about Northerners.
Some of us, though, were taught not to judge a book by its cover, North, South, East or West.
We were raised to respect others until that respect was no longer earned. We didn't make mom mad, at my age I still don't. Mom also didn't raise any fools either. If any of us (mom, my brothers or myself) found ourselves in a situation such as this, the spouse would be history. To each his own.
