No matter, he did not have the right to take the life of his wife, child, and especially his own. The right is not given to us!!

I quit watching TV in 1998 because of the garbage that they have on and call entertainment. 20 years ago, not much of what is on TV now would have passed the censors.

I have grandkids now and they are on a very strict TV watching diet by their parents. Mostly Disney and Nick. And you are right about what is passing on TV now and the censors. Although I am not in favor of censorship I just think that alot of this stuff could be left out of the storylines and it would still be good to watch. Just like *** selling on the commercials. Just a little to much for family viewing.

aa36042,
I was not addressing you or any issue that you posted. In fact I do not remember reading your post, I was not referring to the son being on roids, I was referring to the statement that was made about Benoit, possibly being upset because of his sons size.
Don't jump to conclusions.

Probably because nobody likes talking to you . . .

Obviously you do. Otherwise, that statement wouldn't have been posted.

Only intelligent people can have rhetorical arguments.

I don't believe that Christianity had anything to do with Benoit's actions. I believe he set those Bibles there as damage control for his image. "I was just a poor sinner who deserves forgiveness post-mortem."

He'll be remembered more as a star who fell ("so sad, but we still love ya Chris 'cause you were so cool!") than the murderer of a wife and innocent child.

The point is that the roids were prescribed and their son was diagnosed with an infliction that these drugs normally get prescribed for. the fact that the parents were small when they were younger has nothing to do with anything. I was addressing the issue regarding the roids being blamed for the actions.

Anytime that a person puts foreign materials into their bodies, there is a chance that there can be adverse effects. Alcohol, crack, heroin, steroids, etc., for the simple fact that they were not meant to be in the human body. People have gone on murderous rampages because of having a few too many drinks and something setting them off.
And as for the son being small, if you notice, though Benoit was bulked up, he was not a tall or large man. And his wife, though muscular, was not large either. So more than likely, they were small when they were the age of their son. In fact if you look up pictures of Benoit when he was younger he was slight and small when he started wrestling.

Actually, even if you commit suicide, Jesus will still resurrect you. This is stated in the book of Revelation. So he'll have another chance at life on Judgment Day.

Oh, I'm sure his wife and son will be just thrilled to see him. NOT!

BTW, before making such statements, you really need to take some sort of basic Bible course.

Oh, contrar, I don't care. It just made me laugh when I read it.

You see, I am one of those few folks who like a rhetorical argument.
I don't get offended. By anything. Surprised at much but never offended.

That's what this whole comment section is about.

Duh.

retmilspouse,
You made the statement about what "junk" parents are letting their kids watch. What about you? Do your kids, if you have any, watch TV? If so, what? There is not much on TV anymore where they would not be exposed to violence, murder, drugs, rape, incest, pornography, etc. As I posted on the other article on this, and you failed to reply to, I quit watching TV in 1998 because of the garbage that they have on and call entertainment. 20 years ago, not much of what is on TV now would have passed the censors.

But you care about spelling enough to make a point of it? The meaning should have been clear . . .

Steroids? Are you kidding? I was a college athlete and ive seen many people on roids. I have NEVER seen a "roid rage". The fact is that all these guys use roids. This guy has been using roids for prob 20 years llike 100% of the other guys built like him. Authorities want to see if roids is to blame? That%u2019s like blaming marijuana for someone going on a crime spree..its just ridiculous people say that have no idea about the realities. How about reporting the fact that his child had dwarfism and that the PRESCRIBED steroid is often used for these cases. I think im going to have a roid rage following this terrible coverage.

No, sorry, we're not the same. I don't care much for what people think politically. Or if they are politically correct!

I will keep reading no matter what is written.
