weareone2, mormons teach that blacks are decended from Cain, with the 'mark' that was put on him, and his decendance, being black skin.

Yeah, creeps me out, too.

Don't know about the Mormon religions belief on that, but have heard from many old-time Baptists that the mark of Cain was black skin, and also Joseph of Aremethia(sp) was black.

Where is the outrage over the Judge who ALLOWED this case to proceed? Why isn't he being accused of being 'all that's wrong' with the just - us system? Give me a break. The US 'justice' system is a damned JOKE.

Exactly !!!!!!

Judge Pearson needs to be impeached and removed from office for what can be seen as nothing less than malfeasance and abuse of the legal system. He is a complete disgrace to the bench.

Judge Pearson clearly attempted to subvert the course of justice in filing a civil claim against a couple that he had to have known was going to be severely financially challenged to simply defend themselves.

Judge Pearson has demonstrated a complete and total disrespect for the letter and the spirit of the consumer protection law, and was simply trying to score a Lotto win on the backs of a hard working, immigrant family that did not have the resources to fight back. Never the less they did, and they won.

Judge Pearson needs to be impeached and removed from office for what can be seen as nothing less than malfeasance and abuse of the legal system. He is a complete disgrace to the bench.

Some of you people have made CBS into a race relations website. You will make every same *** article race related. Tell me what the heck does this have to do with black people, George Bush, and North Korea??????? This is about some idiot who tried to sue a trie cleaners for $54 Million for a pants!!!! That is outragous. So because the dry cleaner owners are Asian this should be turned into a racial discussion. GROW UP !!!!

You can always tell who are the poor people typing messages. They are the first ones to find statistics
and give every other race advice. They resort to name calling and blame all of America's ills on another race, while never stating what they bring to the table to make America a better place. Why is everyone so concerned about what another race is doing? These message boards make people feel so important! They can call nasty names and hold and entire race accountable for the action of one person!

I am still confused at why anyone would be upset when people start the name calling and find statistics that never really reflect anything accurate? It is like every news story, The quote these stupid statistics, "he is the first this or that since 1910 to accomplish this" or like " this guy is batting 870 in his last 25 at bat?

America has and will always be racist, it is it human nature. America was built on racism, fact! Whether it is a division due to race, gender, religion, class, etc, America will never escape it and ultimately it will be destroyed by it!

When Soo Chung, Jin Nam Chung and Ki Y. Chung take Roy L. Pearson's to court to recover their legal costs they will really clean his pants. And good for them.

If we went to a loser pays system, these screwed up lawsuits would never go to court. Also, John Edwards would still be living in his boyhood "shack" in the upstate of SC.

This sure doesn't restore my confidence in the legal syste: I don't have any. American criminal and civil justice are in shambles. The rule of law is dying in America, as shown by today's Supreme Court ruling which removes First Amendment protection for discussion of drugs.

how does the world get fed if 99 plus % of people are denied market share 99 plus % of the time?

how will farms produce enough if they consolidate until they can not afford to pay thier few highpriced selfs to feed more than a few? and as it becomes more illegal and more economically impractical to farm for oneself? (except perhaps dirt farming or other small crops with high yields and high scientific value)

how is it that, after 200,000 years of the defense of women and children and get well soon you are here why why why feed the world first aid on the trail folk: the men and the get sick soon you are gone die die die tax the world first strike on the trail folk still have all the market share, all the tax money, all armor, weapons, alcohol, and parades?

if the government spends trillions stuffing pills down the throats of 'imbalanced' folk and waving guns in the faces of 'imbalanced' folk, wouldn't they do themselves a favor to maintain little lines of folk begging for the option to beg to be tortured so the rest can opt out?

kids age five and less take 99 plus % of punishments anyway!, which means screaming at a 6 or 600 year old is the same as screaming at 99 kids, and some of those kids will die!

Since the Admin Judge wasted our taxpayers' money for a foolish court drama..... can all taxpayers ask him to pay us back?

Here's a clue -- mormonman is in no way LDS, but rather someone trying to smear , eg, a toad.

Hey mormonman1, do you remember a couple of years ago, Bill Cosby gave a couple of speeches that, in quite different words, said what you're saying. You may be right, but clean it up. I was glad to see Bill Cosby stand up and speak to the black community to tell them what the facts are. If I remember right they told him in so many words to go fly a kite.

For those of you on the racism thing, get a logical explanation for how racism damages the target group from "Lies My Teacher Told Me", James W. Loewen. Very interesting evenhanded critique of history books.

For a more immediate thought: Yes, statistics can make a case for this & that, such as orientals are smarter than all other races. BUT one thing that makes you a racist is when you make a decision about an individual based on a generalization. Another qualification is when you use any forum to further racism, and racist-apologism.

"Oh, and don%u2019t tell me it has anything to do with racism or poverty. Those excuses have not flown for over 20 years, and I%u2019m not going to try to educate the naove people who flaunt this as an excuse."

Who cares what excuses you'll accept or won't accept? I don't. Anybody who knows about discrimination and the effects it has on people knows better than you. A very educated and graceful lady told me once that she walked into a gift shop at the airport and was told to leave because she didn't look like she could afford anything. Another person told me how she was denied an application for a job, and told that there was a mistake and they weren't looking for employees. But she hung around long enough to see them hand out applications to white people as they entered. So sir, unless you've been there, YOU DON'T KNOW!!!
