DNA Tests On Newborn Girl Done To See If She Belongs To Missing Pregnant Woman
- It is a common misconception that babies born to black families are as dark complected as their parents upon birth. Many babies are born "white" or very light skinned, and their melanin levels out a few days after birth. If this child is bi-racial, that could be the case here - especially if this baby was only a day old when found. Only a DNA test can determine if this child is this woman's daughter or not.
I am ashamed with our news system anymore. There is information put out for everyone to see and hear and make conclusions to before any facts are present. Before, stories waited to be printed until facts came in. Perhaps that is why our judicial system is in such disarray, too? Because people think they "know" what the truth is when all they know is media speculation. - Reply to this comment
- So who said that a biracial baby can't look more like one of the races than the other? Why would the baby looking "white" rule out her having a black father? Exactly what was their criteria?
