The only reason he resigned is because he was about to get nailed to wall and he knew it. As a person who spent his career weighing evidence for & against people in criminal investigations, he knew that he was toast.
He was like one of those suspects on COPS that hide under a house until the police are about to send in the dogs in and starts screamming "OK OK I give up" and the comes out declaring that he didn't do anything while still holding the bag of loot.

Any case with which Nifong was involved should be reviewed and retried. Nifong clearly obstructs justice and engages in prosecutorial misconduct.

Why hasn't he already resigned?

Based on his flimsy excuses, he isn't qualified to be a law clerk, much less a prosecutor.

Not only should he lose his law license, he should lose everything he owns including his freedom. He should spend the rest of his life in prison.

He was only caught because he picked on people with money. How many innocent people are rotting away in prison, thanks to his incompetence and corruption?

He should join them.

And, N. Carolina should be required to review and retry every case with which he was involved.

Say this to yourself a few times till it sinks in.... they did not rape this woman, they did not rape this woman, they did not rape this woman... and how do we know this? a little thing called 'evidence' - mounds of it - heaping piles of it - massive loads of irrefutable evidence - this case left reasonable doubt in the dust... and yet somehow YOU feel justice was not served - why? Well, obviously it has nothing to do with the guilt or innocence of these men and this case... you just want to strike out against white people - so who is the racist here? Fact is that this woman, and this DA attacked three innocent men in gruesome fashion... she'll likely walk away scott free, and he'll suffer punishments comparitively minor compared to what he tried to do to these innocent men - is that fair? in fact, who in this case DESERVES the most punishment, and yet will receive the least? That's right, the perp herself... the black woman.

BTW, have yourself a look at crime statistics showing non-hispanic white rapes on black women versus black rapes on white women... should be an interesting read...

I think Nifong should not only be disbarred. I think he should also get Jail time. What is the sentence for rape in North Carolina (25 years to life) that is probally what he was going to give those players. Remember he is the first one to get caught. I am sure there are alot of other innocent people in prison for wrongful prosecution.
