- "The legislature did fix it - this crime no longer has a 10 year sentence attached to it."

- Perhaps the consentual *** part has questions, however they video taped the acts of the night and that should be considered child pronography. We are this young man and his friends going to be charged with that?

- The legislature did fix it - this crime no longer has a 10 year sentence attached to it. The judge merely changed the sentence to what the legislature had passed - because, as they all know, this is a gross injustice.

- "As a matter of public policy and law, it is the legislature that enacts and/or changes laws. This is called separation of power." Posted by rhs648 at 08:47 PM : Jun 11, 2007
Why is it you Repubs always fall on the 'law' whenever you're gutting the Constitution? "What I did was immoral, officer, but it wasn't illegal" says Cheney, Bush, Libby, Gonzales. "What's ILLEGAL IS ORAL *** BETWEEN TWO CONSENTING MINORS."
Its wonderful to see you neocons so wrapped up in your fine appreciation for God's law and Man's law that you have lost any sense of morality. Wonderful because the public sees it too, and is slowly but surely becoming repulsed by everything you represent. - Reply to this comment
- "It doesn't matter how Genarlow Wilson feels. As a matter of public policy and law, it is the legislature that enacts and/or changes laws. This is called separation of power. To my knowledge, it is in the Federal Constitution and every state constitution. How Genarlow Wilson feels is meaningless."
It sure has hell does matter since a HUGE INJUSTICE WAS DONE TO HIM. He shouldn't have to wait around in prison for the legislature just because people like you like to push paper around. The judge did the right thing in releasing him. If the legislature wants to fix it, they can at any time. If they don't they are a bunch of yahoos. They are probably a bunch of yahoos anyway since they didn%u2019t fix it two years ago when this kid went to prison. - Reply to this comment
- It's like me being imprisoned for getting a flat tire on the highway. A ridiculous concept.

If you can't see the difference between getting a flat tire on the highway and oral *** with a fifteen year old girl, your sense of values and reality leave much to be desired. - Reply to this comment
- And my folks wonder why I DIDN'T want to go to law school.... 10 years because two minors engaged in oral ***. Tax payer's money out the window because the kid got blown @ a party ! Never underestimate the stupidity of a twelve man jury, or the ignorance of judges during sentencing.
