I could care less that she wants to be with her kids, this broad shot her hubby.
If he was so mean ,she should have left him,not shot him.
If she was a man,she would rot behind bars,
what a joke her sentence is.
Many people have kids and still serve lengthy sentences, and so should she.

so, i just dogged Paris Hilton, but this is ridiculous...she shot her husband...and she only gets 60 days!! yes he abused her, and yes she had the choice to LEAVE... (Probably going to get a lot of *** for that one) yet she didn't take that option, she chose to kill a man, and she totally got off on it. WRONG! The man that kidnapped and killed that poor 18 yr old is so screwed for killing a person, yet she gets 60 days. Looks like Paris Hilton went to the wrong judge...

It's a good thing for her that her name is not Paris Hilton.

She would have got 120 years !

Great....now go ahead and name all the men who have only had to serve 60 days in a mental hospital for killing their wives.

Yea, that's what I thought.

An outsider can never know what really goes on in a home between husband and wife. This man could have been a saint or a sinner and this woman could have been a saint or a sinner (although I lean towards the sinner part, since she killed her husband - and he didn't kill her).

Is the financial institution going to file charges now the murder trial is over? It sounded like a whole bunch of federal charges just waiting to happen.

I will have to agree with McVet! Most people assume because he was a man of the cloth that he was a saint. When that is about as far from the truth as you can get. I lived with a religious nut for 17 years of my life. I couldn't wait to get married and leave home. But, I was fortunate my marriage turned out a success. You have no idea the hell people go through living with that kind of a person. They let her off for some reason? It doesn't seem likely to me they would have if there wasn't some evidence of abuse there somewhere! Let's face if folks we are not talking about California or New York State! We are talking about Tennessee the bible thumping capital of the country!

Unless she was in imminent danger (which in this case doesn't seem to be the case), there was absolutely no reason to kill him.
