As a college professor of WOMEN's STUDIES, I can bring some understanding and wisdom to this discussion. The MEN who are posting HATEFUL comments, are doing so as they are afraid of the castrating nature of MS Cindy ( my sister in the struggle !) comments, her cutting remarks, and "standing up" firmly to authority - all are seen by men as a way to insult their own manhood/ masculinity/authorization of self.

Now we got the Men bashers along with the Bush bashers.

Classes next September will be devoted to her lectures. Men in my classes must pledge to be silent, to keep the faith of leadership pure. Yes and be strong, like Cindy.

Ah, a class where one portion of the students must be quiet based upon their ***? Sounds a bit discriminatory(sp) to me.

All women have full rights to speak out, do and go where they want. Women have less rights here and Western Civilization vs. all other countries, which makes our society fearful of change, vis a vis a subcortical fear of castration.
These concepts are strongly erected on facts.

Strange you should tell us this is based on fact. That women have less rights here than in other countries? Ok, so those ladies in the middle east who can only show their eyes and walk 6 paces behind the man, not speak out in public. I guess they just do that for the style?
