- Pesos, it is evident that part of the problem in this country is hugely due to ignorance. First and foremost, geography. Texas is not the South. As an educated person from the "gentile" South (Augusta, Ga), I take great insult to you even using the term in the obvious ignorant manner that you are (albeit correctly) describing the Bush Administration and the occupant at the White House. We seriously need to move on and look at today and forward. Take all of the energy here and apply it to intellectual discourse and perhaps we may find some solutions to this current situation rather than just throwing very old fuel on a very old and tasteless fire. I urge all to vote and be vigilent. We are seriously on perilous ground.

- Waco, TX %u2013 Once again, Janet Reno is torturing Texans with her %u201CLord of the Police State%u201D presence, provoking outrage and forcing Texans to confront her arrogance head on.
Syndicated Radio Host Alex Jones, who spearheaded the effort to rebuild a memorial church at Waco for all those who were killed in Reno%u2019s murderous siege of 1993.
Sorry folks, I can't make this stuff up.
Yes, it's the same Alex Jones that claims that Bush brought down the WTC.

- SniperVet80 - honey pie - its the financial ability of the north that has supported the south since the end of Civil War - and we are just discovering what a waste of our tax dollars it was to pay for a system of education in the south - it's been a huge waste of time, money and energy and produces generation after generation of dummies who can't support themselves - and then and go and votefor a fellow moron like Bush who's genepool has obviously been watered down with keg after keg of cheap white lightening too.

- dp--concentrate on the invocation of the Holocaust or perhaps a typo in the last post by me--it will keep you from facing the uncomfortable truth that the unthinkable often happens--and it happens because most render "unthinkable" not was is impossible, but simply what makes them afraid or uncomfortable. LOL.
See you at the camps. Will you be the one with the German Shepherd, one of the ones who tells us to go right or left or one of the ones who gives us a rock and tells us it is a bar of soap before the fake showers? - Reply to this comment
- Far right or far left, they are the same and WACKO. Posted by dlpracer at 08:19 PM : May 28, 2007
sometimes the "wacko" comments are actually the ones closer to the truth. No doubt the idea of anyone attacking us on US soil on a large scale was considered wacko prior to 9/11/01. and many in the world would have said the possibility of America wanting to torture and make such a practice sanctioned by laws and would put laws on the books excusing war crimes and would create the conditions for genocide in another country--were ludicrous also. In fact--they would have been discarded as conspiracy theories or the remarks of WACKO fringe elements.
But here is an uncomfortable truth--unspeakable events often become reality, because the average person refuses to entertain possiblilities and when faced with certain evidence, is reticent or even afraid to acknowledge what the ramifications of acts or words--so that the horror is upon us all, while many--saw it coming and hid their eyes--and others who saw it and pointed it out--were decried as wacko.
Incidentally, prior to WWII, most Jews said the question of mass pogroms in Europe in that day and age were impossible and unthinkable--and then we had the Holocaust. Unthinkable. But unthinkable does not mean it will not happen, it just means some cannot bear to think on it. - Reply to this comment

- For a draft-dodging elitist coward like George W. Bush to use empty words like, 'freedom, sacrifice, honor, courage and faithful' when speaking about our troops is to profane those words and to heap even more dishonor on our troops being wasted there.
