You're wrong. We'll always KNOW we're right.

And where did you get this 26% of Christians? Nowhere credible? I thought so.

singinrick, jdweymouth, and the rest of you GOOD Christians deserve my apologies. I did not realize you were not members of the 26% of Christians who think it is OK to kill or subjugate those who disagree with the teachings of your sweet little religion. LMFAO. What a bunch of paranoid fools who can't separate an argument about religious extremism from their delusion that their religion is under attack. Gee, doesn't THAT sound familiar? (don't get that either, do you?) I am so f**ing amused with you morons, especially since you can't and never will see it. You will always be ignorant and always think you are right. Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let reality bite. ROFLMAO

Ummm... I don't know what planet you're living on, or what type of cohesive reality you claim allegiance to, but you regularly defend dictator Bush's right to lie, illegally kidnap, indefinitely imprison secretly, torture, and murder, anonymous global citizens.

All to benefit the spread of Bush's rule.

Think before you speak. That's not even original, someone else thought of it.

Yikes!!!

Why wasn't the headline "74% of Young U.S. Muslims Don't OK Bombs"?

Fellow Americans, please stop for a moment and think for yourselves.

"But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship. ... voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

Yeah, I heard about him. He's someone who stopped following Christ, and started following a Christian. And as I said, incidents like these are few and far between. The issue is this; they can't be backed up with the Bible, and they are in the minority. And let me ask you this; who bombed the WTC, who flew planes into it, who's killing our soldiers, and who on this board is advocating fundementalist takeover of the U.S.? Moslems!!!

Despite this, you attack Christians! Jesus said that Christians will be hated for His sake. The world's attitude toward Christians is living proof of the truth of our doctrine!

grazinggoat,

Then, why are radical Islamist not hunted done and arrested by non-radical Islamists?
Where is the total rejection of their agenda?
Why, if all you claim happened when Mohammad came into history, why didn't Muslims retain their knowledge and become the leading religion, rather than a religion that breeds suicide bombers?
And, by the way, the Koran states that suicide is a great sin. By definition. a martyr is someone who forgoes entry into Heaven for the greater good. So, all martyrs are burning inhell

In every population you got the bullies that impose on the general population. In animal models the dominant male does keep the Harem, and get to be the only male to reproduce. So his genetic material is passed on to following generations.

The Middle-East area being a VERY sought-after area, it had suffered a lot of invasions for its beautiful weather and easy life. No wonder the constancy in war occurrence over that spot of Earth. The Jews pretend that it's a promised land and they put it in the 'holy' books that translated into an 'AGENDA' for land repossession and Zionism. Some of the Muslims are also as fanatics as the Jews (Zionists) are.

-The WW2 translated forcefully, into a great opportunity for the Jews to move to a remote land and prepare to retake the Land of the Middle-East where their ancestors came from and from where they have been chased. BY moving to America, they found a sound echo with the Right-Wingers and an alliance has been established between the two in order to retake the Holy Land with the consequence we know of.

-Displacing a population (Palestinians) from its original land does cause a lot of instability in the neighboring regions which we see in Lebanon with the Palestinians refugees... As I said before, the Palestinians are also used as a bargain chip by the Power Brokers who want to protect their a$$es in the region.

-On the other hand the dominant power which is us have decided to side unilaterally with the Jewish State because we tend to think rightfully or forcefully, that our best guarantee would be the Israelis because they have taken control of the management force in Political and Corporate America, and that is simply a fact, AIPAC being a great lobbying organization steering the major political decisions in favor of Israel.

-So Israel is a satellite of the United States in the Middle-East. And the decision has been taken as such because we saw many local satellite fall apart to radical aboriginals (The Shah fell to Khomeini, Iraq previous King fell to Saddam...) And because previous Soviet Russia had some close allies in the region, Yemen, Syria and for a while Egypt... By going into the Middle-East the USA elected to be present in a strategically important region no doubt, in order to protect the precious resources of the Arabian underground from coveting China, India and Russia.

-Regarding the suicidals, well why be so surprised, the Japanese did it during the Second World War. Our soldiers who make it to the middle-east are suicidal, because they are aware of the possibility of being killed. Would you do go somewhere where you know your odds to be killed would multiply by one thousand if you were not suicidal unless you are pushed there. Do we ask them why are they going there? We are proud of them and we say hey they are heroic because they are defending their country. Many had shown panic syndrome while on their way to Iraq. It%u2019s like you%u2019re driving a lamb to the slaughterhouse. They become aware of the gravity of their gesture and become reluctant to go it despite all%u2026 For the details please spare me from getting involved because I don%u2019t understand the reward system that has been set up by both their religious and our political leaders.

For all of you who say "it's just the Muslims. Christians never kill in the name of their religion". It just makes me laugh at you a**hole fools. Read the new article about the LIBERTY UNIVERSITY ("Christian" Jerry Falwell) student who made bombs and intended on "napalming" some anti-Falwell demonstrators in the name of Christ. LMFAO - But you morons don't see it, do you? Of course not. Hard to see when you head is so far up you a**. F**ing nazi low lifes.

Thank you drivelphobe, I totally agree with you. No problem with people keeping their religion between them and their god, just keep it out of my life.

Oh, and for the *** muslim who posted that ***, I have news for you pal: maybe the women in your country are weak enough to take your sh*t, but I am a westerner and you try touching my rights, I will shoot you like a dog. This country is based on freedom, take that away from people, they will turn nasty, do you hear? The Brits tried and they had to go home whimpering with their tail between their legs. And you think muslims are going to get a better treatment? Keep dreaming honey! Maybe that *** works in your 3rd world country, it doesn't work here.
I try not to post offensive messages, but I will make an exception for you: go back to f*cking your camels in your miserable desert you ***. I am a woman, I work, I drive a car, I have higher education, and I am pretty sure I make more money than you. And I will keep doing that for the rest of my natural life. I hope it eats you up inside, I hope it annoys you, because that makes me feel really good!

First off, Islam is at fault, but the leftists automatically attack Christians. Tell me, where in the Bible does it condone killing innocents? No where. I can refer you to several places where it does in the Koran. You talk about the crusades, and the inquisition; what about the Moslem invasion of Europe? What about the thousands of Jews and Christians that were killed in Palestine before the crusades? You say that Christians went out of their way to be martyred during the Roman Empire; this is not true. We were willing, and still are, to die for our religion; but NOT TO KILL FOR IT. The Bible says to turn the other cheek; not to go on a murderous rampage if someone draws a caricature of Jesus! Nor to go on a murderous rampage when someone refers to the anti-Islamic statements of Byzantine Emperor that lived 1000 years ago! There are those Christians that blow up abortion clinics, but it cannot possibly be justified by the Bible, and they are few and far bewtween. The same cannot be said for Moslems. Most Christians would probably say it is alright to die for your religion, but never to kill for it.

Moral of the story: Christianity is far less bloody than Islam.

Christian Fundamentalists would be just as extreme as Islamic Fundamentalists it we had been invaded by a Islamic super-power that had a history of installing and supporting brutal dictators to steal large Oil reserves in our country and in our neighboring countries.

"Christian" fundamentalist leader Pat Robertson recently called for the assassination of President Chavez -- apparently for winning his democratic election by a huge margin (unlike Bush) and then working to direct their Oil revenues from multinational corporate profits to the poor people of his nation.

And lets not forget that our so-called Christian "WAR President" LIED us into a needless War, resulting in more American deaths than even Osama was responsible for.

If your doctor found a lump in your testicle, or breast if female, and it had at least a 5% chance of being malignant and rapid growing, wuould you leave it or have it removed? Same question about the Muslims in this country. I vote for removal.

sy2502...Hang in there with all these religious people. They are closed-minded when it comes to this topic. Someone once said that gods are imaginary playmates made up by adults. It is worse than that. These people actually believe there are gods, but unfortunately, they only think the one they believe in is the real one. Wars ensue over these feelings. We are witnessing this today with the Islamists. There are either gods or there are not. here is not one shred of evidence to support the existence of deities. I am convinced there are none. I think the concept is ridiculous, but you can't argue the issue because belief is too strong and based purely on emotion. Oh, don't forget about the brain washing that occurs from childhood. I don't concern myself with that fact that the are millions of religious people. Unless they start preaching and talking god talk around me, I treat them like any other uniformed individual. I guess in a way, they might be happier than the atheist. They don't have to think about or worry about life's main issues. It's all taken care of by the lord, or something like that. How do christians know that allah is not the real god? How about Zeus? How about......?????? It never ends. They are all figments. Have a nice day.

SlipSir01,

"And where in the article does it state the actual number of Muslims in the U.S.?"

Three quarters down the first page, "The survey estimates there are roughly 2.35 million Muslim Americans."

SlipSter01:

So would you agree that the actual number of U.S. Muslims who view Al-Qaeda favorably is quite high, at least in the tens of thousands? That was my point. Within that number, you only need a few who view Al-Qaeda VERY favorably to have a potentially serious problem.

Their minds can't grasp the concept of not believing in something that they figure all atheists actually do believe in something,

Posted by RandalDS at 09:00 PM : May 22, 2007

Rand, I must disagree somewhat, All Atheists believe in something just like their religious brothers. For the Atheists it is their own absolute belief that they have the 'right' ideas about the universe in so far as they understand it. The Religious also have their own set of beliefs based on handed down text from days past when people had time to listen and think. How these 'texts' came into being is even now debated over and over. Hammurabi's codex and other scripts of ancient lore are often juxtaposed with Hebrew legends in attempts to credit/discredit todays version of history. man will not find the answers in books or lore. It has been my experience that God still handles that chore himself, one on one.
G'night friend.
