(ANS, The Afterlife) Echoing his comments made after 9-11 that the terrorist attack was caused by a litany of "evil forces," the late Jerry Falwell said today from the afterlife that "pagans, abortionists, ***, feminists, lesbians, the ACLU, People for the American Way, Al Gore, and other immoral, liberal groups and individuals bear full responsibility for the heart attack that has claimed my earthly life."
Falwell went to add that, unlike his apology following his post-9-11 comments, he will "not be apologizing this time because there are no liberals where I'm going. So they can kiss my fat, dead azz.
Falwell said he had been sitting at his desk, thumbing through a stack of personal checks from residents of a senior center he had visited on Monday when he felt a sudden, crushing pain in his chest.
"It was like the homosexuals were actually reaching into my chest cavity and squeezing my heart," Falwell recounted. "I started praying, 'Lord, smite the homosexuals,' but they wouldn't let go. *** have a helluva' grip. Must be from all that c@ck grabbing they do."

He rots in Hell with Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon...soon to be joined by Pat Robertson.

Good riddance to 'christian' trash.

While robertson was a hatemonger and a bigot, I don't believe ROnald Reagan and Nixon were. Reagan was a simple man, with rather simple (and naive) beliefs. And Nixon, while I do not agree with many things he did, was still a true republican, not like these zealot neocons that pass for the GOP these days. Nixon, aside from the paranoia, would pass for a moderate these days. Rush would probably call him a democrat light. Really sad, actually, how far they have shifted

He said 9/11 happened because we deserved it, for tolerating vice. Wonder what he did to deserve his death - preach hatred?

Finally, Falwell has gone on to wherever he has gone on to. I have my own idea and it is not up.
The most we secularists can hope for is that he stays there.
Still there are several other religious nut jobs
to go. Hopefully, they will soon pass on before they do any further harm.
Jeeeeeez!

Falwell: Another American Christian Taliban leader who deserved execution for crimes against democracy and freedom. Too bad the devil beat us to it. Hope it was a painful death.

Good riddance. What a hypocritical piece of garbage. Every one of his type (wanting to make America a theocratic dictatorship) can suck the muzzle of my gun as I pull the trigger.

I do remember Oral Roberts. However, apart from the 'occasional foot-in-mouth' issue Falwell had, he preached nothing other than conservative values and the word of the Bible. Not once was he accused of financial improprieties, sexual misconduct, or anything other than speaking his own mind and preaching his beliefs. By the way when you meet your maker it will be on His terms not yours.(Been there, done that, and dying for it today but with a clear conscious & on MY terms.)
Not one other post that I have seen has mentioned the missions, the homes for unwed mothers... or the other good he has done with the money donated to his ministry or University.

Remember Oral Roberts? Remember when he said that if he didn't get something to the tune of $5million or so that the lord was going to take him home? I found out that the word LORD really means; Let Oral Roberts Die. Wonder if that sanctimonious sack of monkey smack is still hanging on to dear life. These guys have done more to prove that god does not exist than to prove their god did. Logic and reason should always be used in determining the reality of some folks versions of god. Yes, there IS a god, but not the one most people believe in. Been there, done that, and dying for it today but with a clear conscious & on MY terms. God is not a capitalist republican, nor a democrat, god is whatever works for you to understand the Creator best.

How nice. Falwell savevd many souls, amd although the majority of the posts wish him to rot in Hell, Falwell will be in a much better place than this earth. His influence may have resulted in a political shift many of the posters disagree with, but he was influentual. Stand for something or fall for anything -- Jerry Falwell stood for what he believed in.
Despite your ill wishes and celebrations, he was a man who would pray for you in stite of your ire.
A gay couple moved in across Thomas Road Baptist Church to protest his ideas. To them he said he loved them as people but that they were not folling God's wishes, he invited them to attend the weelky services and told them the he wwould pray for them.
America has lost a true champion for Jesus.
May God bless his soul.

II understand that he used to give the names and addresses of those he disagreed with on the air during his radio sermons and encourage the 'faithful' could make their lives misrible. Talk about a BULLY PULPIT.

It never seemed to occur to this bible-thumping sanctimonious clown that the so called 'Moral Majority' was neither. (Philosophy from a bumper sticker)

Today the world is rid of one of the most vile and evil predators of the 20th century. Jerry Falwell preyed on the poor and undereducated. I will never forget the ads he produced at the end of the century. "For a gift of only $40 we will send you this valuable phamplet entitled 'How you can survive the carnage of Y2K,"

Good riddance to a cancer upon humanity, and may you rot in hell!

Grandson of an atheist ? I'm not so sure about that...but I do know he was a son of a cross-eyed Baptist dog.

His soul rots in Hell and awaits his buddy Pat Robertson's worthless soul to join him.

Ignorant cracker. The man who brought us Republiscum Party rule for the past twelve long years.
