What about terrorists? if little kids and old people (12 million of them)can get into our borders, what about foreign terrorists? After all, most of the 9-11 hijackers were illegles. For all we know, Osama Bin Ladin could be running a 7-11 in Hog Squeal, Alabama at this very moment. The price we pay? Body cavity searches just to fly to visit Grandma.

What is this talk about breaking up families? No self respecting mother would abandon her kids in a foreign country--unless to her, they were not really babies/children but tools to use to get a foothold in America--then I suppose leaving them would seem like their only choice, onec they found out their "tool" was useless. (oh, but first let's try the crying game) Oh, nina don't cry--go with mommy and daddy, it would be soooo much better for everyone--and we do mean everyone. Sorry, very few will fall for the pity party--because very few against illegal immigration are for "anchor babies" we believe a child can be nothing more than their parents' and their origin. So if mom and dad are illegal aliens--then little Maria is an illegal alien too. The sticking point is what our government says--but never confuse the allowances and amnesties of the government with the sentiment of the people------2 very different things.

nope, it is new age slavery, when we make them do it for free and we say their children are not citizens EVER--they are just replacement slaves.

They already get free health care and schooling and school lunches. If we provide them with a few clothes from Goodwill and maybe a bit of bread in exchange for their labor--then we could term it slavery.

REally though, they are self centered people and I am not impressed with any jobs they do--because I refuse to let them do anything for me and I know about it. I believe other immigrants (the legal ones) would be just as willing to do the jobs--if the line jumpers were all swept away. You delude yourself and them with the importance of what they do and what they mean to us--if they are gone--we will adjust and we WILL find replacements for them--the immigration lines are long and many of the people come from situations as poor or even poorer than the Hispanics who marched.

Why can I read so many people that dislike the illegal immigrant issue, but yet all our politicians do is tip toe around the issue. I don't see where the tip toeing should be. I wish my county or city I lived in would round up the illegals. I am sick of being stared at and spoken poorly of at the grocery store by someone who has no right in being here. They have even added security to our parking lot at the grocery because of break in's and such that our caused by guess what? ILLEGALS.

How soon people forget that most of us came from somewhere else. In the early 1900's there were no quotas etc. Most of tehse people legal or not work hard. Look at the commentsd here wet back deported your all scum!

They cut in the immigration lines and take jobs and the place in America away from others who come from situations just as dire as they do. If they keep their azzes home, we can then let in the legal immigration applicants--you KNOW the ones who OBEY and RESPECT our laws and wait their turn, not sneak in, sponge off the system and send money home--while driving up our crime, hospital, insurance and poor school results rates. And if we must put everything in Spanish to cater to a certain minority immigrant group, then we need to have everything in German, Swahili, French, Dutch, Norweigan, Ghanian, Italian, Portugese, Japanese, Korean, Maylay, Malagay,Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, Persian, and every other group that must learn English at the present time while these people are catered to.

If they're here illegally they're not covered by the laws of protection guaranteed by the Constitution. Therefore they have no complaint. What's the problem - move back to Mexico if you don't like the treatment here. Duh!
