Anti-Gay Religious Group Known For Protesting At Services For U.S. Soldiers Killed In Iraq
- How messed up have the people of the US become? The will of God to kill these people? Then the press glorifies this idiot that killed 32 people. Enough is enough! I feel sorry for the people killed and the families, but we also have a war going on with thousands getting killed!!! We have to move on! This moron that did the killing needs no more press. Let's move on.

- There are somethings that the sane and decent human mind cannot conceive. The VA Tech massacre being one, and now this nonsense. It seems like today indecent and narrow-minded people are using religion as an excuse to get publicity. As my wise high-school teacher once said, " I don't a problem with religion and I certainly don't have a problem with anyone I know, or don't for that matter, being religious. What really grinds my gears is when people try to force their religion upon you. That is not the meaning of religion. "People who want to discuss their religious views with your rarely want to hear yours"."

- These people are real fruitcakes! The Bible says "..many are called but few are chosen..". These idiots will answer to GOD at judgement time for their actions.
No where in the Bible does GOD say christians will not suffer. Everybody suffers one way or another because of sin!
I am a Christian and a cancer survivor. I am against homosexuality and abortion but I do not believe these people were killed because they were sinners. - Reply to this comment

My only recomendation is to read it thoroughly, do not skip paragraphs...whether you are a believer or nonbeliever, this site is really incredible in terms of using science against claims in the Bible...interesting stuff.... - Reply to this comment
- Religion seems to bring out the worst in humanity at times. The Heaven's Gate group returned a telescope they had just purchased believing it to be defective because they couldn't see the alien ship in the ice trail behind Comet Hale-Bopp. Maybe the Westboro Baptist Church members will do the world a favor and follow the Heaven's Gate members.

- This has got to be the most discussing report of any that have come out of the disaster in Virginia. Talk about sick minds!!!!!!! This is the kind of people who are terrorists and cause heartache to those who don't deserve it. May God deliver us from the insanity of this group!

- I agree with RevSpooky regarding the possible sexual abuse of Cho as well as his religion rule. I stated in one of my earlier posts, some of the nastiest people I've met have been very religious people- they cheat on their spouses, degrade people, etc BUT since they go to church they think they're good people. These are regular catholics I'm talking about. SO much bloodshed has been spilled "in the name of God" that if there really was a God-he'd be so disgusted w/ the human race noone would be allowed into heaven. The very people that are supposed to represent & live for God-priests, etc are the ones molesting children & then the church is covering it up instead of trying to help the victims. That's moral? The vatican is covered w/ gold & other lavish things but they ask for money from the poor during church services-how does that make sense?
Religion is just another business today. They profit off people's weaknesses, fears, & ignorance.People can believe what they want to believe in I have no problem with that. It just seems ridiculous that evolution has been proven, yet people continue to believe in the magical place called heaven & continue to kill "in the name of God." People just need to help others, stop discriminating against people who are different then them, & learn to be tolerant of others. Simple as that. That's what make you a good person. - Reply to this comment

great post... many good points...
To add my 2 cents to it...
The brainwashing of our children to believe a 2 thousand year old lie is a tragedy. Religion has outlived its usefullness, as in it was probably necessary in the past to control the masses of people and to explain the entire world to them in a very simple way (like god is your parent and your parents will look out for you). But now a days, we have something called LOGIC and EDUCATION. Yes they do exist and that is what the future is people... In the future people will look back at this time period (the dark ages---yes we are still in the dark ages) and laugh at the people of the day for believing in mythical creatures, just as we look back and laugh that people actually thought the earth was flat. - Reply to this comment
- I am outraged. Their hatred and so-called "fulfillment of the word of God" is NOT what Christianity is about, or at least not the trinity I worship. I think Christians, as well as many other faiths, are mourning with the people of Virginia Tech and those affected by this tragedy and struggling through the situation and how we will process it as a community of faith.

- If he was sent by God to do his will, then why did God tell him to take his life knowing that he would die and go to hell? It doesn%u2019t make any sense if you really think about it. I wonder how you would feel if it was one of your love ones or better yet someone in your dysfunctional group and if you really knew what you were protesting and talking about you would know that his name is Yahweh. Protesting at a time like is an Anti%u2014Americanism which is a predisposition to hostility toward the United States and American society, a relentless critical impulse toward American social, economic, and political institutions, traditions, and values; it entails an aversion to American culture in particular and its influence abroad, often also contempt for the American national character and dislike of American people, manners, behavior; dress, and so on; rejection of firm belief in the malignity of American influence and presence not just in Virginia but anywhere in the world.
