No, christians are not perfect, not by any means, but, I would think the leaders of our flocks, the ones who are truly called, can be expected to have higher standards and not use the Bible and and few letters in front of their name to cause even more discord- Rev. People are outraged - the right people are not listening. It will take Money to make them listen. Again, the sponsers of these shows (MSNBC, CBS, and NBS) will only listen to you when it hits them in the pocket book. And the decision makers are under obligations of Al and Jesse - so their hands are tied. BUT, if we stand tall and refuse to purchase their products, belive me they will have a change of heart.

Al and Jesse are two of the biggest bigots on earth. THEY are making this a racial issue. Don Imus referred to his wife as the "Green Hoe" over and over. He loves her, it was a joke. But Al and Jesse couldn't respond because she was one: his wife, and two" she was white.

How can we let Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton be the voices behind this? They are two of the biggest hypocrites in the media today. Why aren't more people outraged about how this was handled? We do not condon what was said by Imus, but to have Jackson and Sharpton speaking out on this is such a double standard. Has anyone heard some of their racist comments? These are supposed to be men of God, who preach forgiveness. All they do is stir up hatred and trouble. This has caused more hurt than the words of Imus. We are not happy with the way CBS and the sponsors handled this.

Well, I guess it's late on the East coast (I'm on the West)and I haven't seen many new replies. So tomorrow when you wake up think of what YOU can do to get Imus the fair treatment he deserves. Those women forgave him, so in my opinion the "powers that be" are under Al and Jesse's control (or at least they owe them a favor to two). If they can't "FORGIVE" (as if it were up to them) then what is their function in life?

What I have learned: it's OK to insult women, Jews, lesbians, ***, etc., but the line is drawn at blacks. I am proud of my people.
