I am so angry about this. You guys also need to send messages to the sponsors. Once all the sponsers pulled out - it really shrunk the cbs executives kahonas. The only one that remained was Bigelow Tea. So these sponsors need to hear from you as well. They are: Staples, General Motors, Sprint Nextel, GlaxoSmithKline, Proctor and Gamble, PetMed Express and American Express. These are the sponsors that pulled out.

OF COURSE IT'S ABOUT RACE. JOB APPLICATIONS ASK FOR RACE AND ***, JUST SO THEY CAN PICK THE STRAIGHT HEAD OVER THE NAPPY HEAD. HOW DARE YOU ALL TO TELL US TO GO BACK TO WHERE WE CAME FROM? THE ONLY NATIVE AMERICAN IS THE NATIVE AMERICANS. OH, I FORGOT THE STRAIGHT HEADS WIPED THEM OUT.

You can clearly see how sharpton and his buds divide the races. You see the uproar and you can feel the racial tension. Sharpton and jackson, I hope they will pay for all the trouble they stir up. I agree with another post I read on here that said sharpton and Jackson need to think of themselves as simply Americans and quit this uproar over race.I'm tired of hearing their whining over race issues. They are the real biggot racists. They should lose their jobs as well. If I was their bosses they would be gone in a new york minute.Remember they stirred the pot on the Duke Lacrosse issue as well. Trouble makers.

Mr Sharpton dose not seem to have an equal amout of mercy toward those who apologize and relent of of mistakes which they make. I seem to recall Mr. Shapton supporting Mr. Revrend Jessie Jackson during his hour of darkness when the news of his fathering a child out of wedlock and not supporting the mother. Where is his mercy or is he discriminating. I hope he knows the scriptures he quotes. "Those who show mercy will be shown mercy."

Shouldn't we be asking Les Moonves' resignation? Wouldn't that really be the fair thing here?

If you have a problem occur such as this, isn't there a much better way of handling it? Shouldn't the likes of Sharpton and Jackson be turned off and not allowed on our airways and in our faces? What a sense of injustice! These horrible and improper comments by Don Imus were between Don Imus and these women of this basketball team! If the words themselves were horrible - which I agree about - then let's go after the rappers and hip hoppers who put them out there. We wouldn't even know these words if they had not been placed upon us by the likes of this music and culture.

If the Imus Radio Show should have had limitations, shouldn't Mr. Moonves have setforth this guideline? Don's a pretty smart guy, he would have known what to or not to do! Didn't he fire his sports caster because he made derogatory remarks about Serena Williams? This alone shows he was and is not a racist bigot!

What about a corporate set of rules and regulations? Moonves runs this corporation like George Bush runs this country! My way or the highway, but oh yeah I forgot to put my plan out there to show you just what is my way!

How's that Katie Curic evening disaster workin for ya Les? I hope the CBS Corporation shows you the same insightful consideration as Don Imus. Really its time for you to go!

AS PARENTS WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO PUNISH OUR CHILDREN. (TAKE AWAY THEIR ALLOWANCE, VIDEO GAMES, ETC.) AND NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT FROM US. SO HOW DARE YOU ALL CRITICIZE CBS FOR THIER DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS AGAINST IMUS?

I've been listening to IMUS just about every morning for the last 18 years. He and his crew are like a family to me as I drive my hour drive to work. How many families out there dis-own their brother because he says something that makes you mad once in a while? I don't! Over the years, IMUS has done so many POSITIVE things for others that it's hard for me to believe that the people he worked for would abandon him so quickly. I guess Moonves isn't Karmezan. Right now I feel like my opinion about IMUS is being ignored by CBS. I'm the guy who was listening to those ads which CBS profited from through the IMUS show. Why isn't my voice being listened to? It's amazing that the only point of view given a platform on TV is that of the anti-imus clan. Suspension, yes. Firing, WRONG!!! BAD MOVE CBS!! Don't bother getting a replacement. I won't be tuning in.

CBS TV is now off limits in our home. The hypocracy of the management of CBS is laughable. "Selected outrage" does more to harm race relations than Imus staying on the air and opening a dialogue about it. While his remarks were repulsive, I believe he sincerely regrets and is sorry for them. He's a shock jock...that's what he does and CBS knows and profits from him. CBS management looks foolish. shame on them. I'd like to see an organized boycott of CBS

What Imus said, should not have been said. However I have heard much much worse from high profile black men about black women and what has been done by either Jackson or Sharpton?? The answer is NOTHING!! I guess if you put "Reverend" in front of your name then you can make poeple believe anything.

Neither Jesse nor Al are "Reverends" They are RACISTS, pure and simple. I agree with many others on here...I am sickened by CBS's decision. I am also done with CBS, both radio and tv. Anyone who would bow down to these two racist jerks doesn't deserve my time or support!

It must have taken proud2bblack a while to think up that comparison. So an off "color" remark is equivalent to murder. If you had said j-walking and getting a ticket it would have been close. If all it takes is a little comment to **** you all off we really dont need to worry about a nuclear terrorist attack. All the terrorists need to do is scream a few racist slurs and the cities will shutdown with sharpton (the racist drug deal murder setup guy) bringing his troops to the streets. This country had better open its eyes and quit spending time trying to oust a guy that raises 100 million for charities that benefit all people.

Does any one at CBS believe in forgiveness? To give the platform to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson; two of the most divisive people on the air waves; a chance to ramble their personal agendas under the pretext of speaking for the talented and forgiving Rutgers women is irresponsible. Taking Mr. Imus's voice away is stupid and cowardice. Mr. Imus is a brash and some times abrasive man. I dare say the people that run this network knew all of this. He made you money. He has a talent for helping many people and causes. Given the suspension and time to reflect; I am certain he would have made amends for his remarks. In no way do I condone what he said. It was wrong and the timing was horrific. The people at CBS and NBC are wrong. Mr. Imus was wrong. I believe that the innocent will be the ones that ultimately will suffer the most. The only man that could have made this right has been quieted.

IT'S EASY TO SUPPORT IMUS WHEN YOU HAVE A USER I.D. TO HIDE BEHIND. YOU KNOW IF YOU OPENLY VOICED YOUR OPINION YOU WOULD MEET THE SAME FATE AS HIM.

CBS has really made the wrong call here. Dropping Imus was a shameful reaction to this situation. The two week suspension was one thing, but this was over the top -- particularly after Mr. Imus apologized for his words and reached out to the Rutgers team. It certainly appears that CBS caved in over concerns about losing ad business. CBS did not even have the decency to allow Mr. Imus to finish his telethon! Shame on CBS -- you've just lost me as a viewer (and I'm in the CBS news demographic, by the way). I can tell you many many others feel the same. Hope your ratings sink to new depths over this.
