there was never any evidence of anything.
dna never matched any of the boys,it should have ended after that was found.
Posted by kaili3" They had to do what they did, and do you no why. It was all about race again. If they wouldnt have bowed down to jessie and al sharpton and the naacp, and went after those evil lacross boys that took avantage of that po black girl they would never had heard the end of it. Do you here al sharpton, or jessie jackson saying anything about this story now, hell no and you wont. - Reply to this comment
- i agree with something a poster said earlier.
if imus is fired, what about nailing those rap music artists?
and i don't mean just black artists, white also.
if they want to wipe out the N-word,make it so no one can use it.
it should not be acceptable for everyone, not just white people. - Reply to this comment
- what next?
any ideas? - Reply to this comment
- Interesting how Imus is being railroaded for using verbiage that various black community role models (rap stars, comedians, etc) use and yet I don't hear Al Sharpen or any of the other so called leaders demand the "exotic dancer" be charged for her Criminal act? Why is that do you suppose? Those Duke students have had their lives adversely effected far more than the Rutgers basketball team ever will be. Its no wonder there continues to be racism in America, it's because of these black leaders who continue to promote it based on the double standard they live by.

- Katie,
Throughout your broadcast you said you were in
Raleigh-Durham. The only place that goes by that name is our airport (RDU). You were in Raleigh, with the state capitol in the background. Duke is in Durham. Minneapolis-St Paul might be hyphenated, Raleigh and Durham are not.
Enjoyed your coverage, especially letting the parents vent. Finally the press and public will listen to them. It's amazing: so many sensational pieces written and said about something that never happened.
The day after the accuser went to the police one reporter wrote that the accuser was clearly surprised when anyone from the press showed up at her door. Little did she know the press bonanza it would create.
That same week a columnist here wrote that she hoped the accuser was being truthful because if not it hurt every woman who was raped and wanted to report it. Today's end to the story has many sad aspects. - Reply to this comment

- How come I haven't heard Al Sharpton demand that the accuser publiccly apologize?
