Michigan Woman Arrested For Allegedly Arranging Pornographic Photo Shoot Of 7-Year-Old Daughter
- Maybe the Bible shouldn't have been written by man... huh??? Man has always twisted things around to suit his own purposes... or maybe it is in the imperfect translation from Hebrew??? Anyone out there able to say what the original Hebrew Bible says about these issues?

- "Raiderscott, are you referring to the same Bible that has multiple stories of incest, rape, familial murder and human sacrifice? Frankly, your religion has contributed to these problems, not helped to solve them. Far more people use religion as an excuse to do evil than as a reason to do good. The most perverse courses of action can, do and have been called "the will of God". Posted by jimibear at 11:32 AM : Apr 02, 2007
Jimibear, you did it again. How do you get inside my head like that & steal my thoughts & post them as your own?! You naughty boy!

But rohink, she IS following the bible: "...and god said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion...over every living thing that moves upon the earth...'"
Of course THAT is the basis of all our problems right there. Humans, to justify their lust, greed, unquenchable thirst for power, dominance & control were the ones who penned those words. They are the reason we do what we do AND the justification for it. Those words were made up- like a steven king novel- to scare the p**p out of people! And it worked for most. Not me.
This woman is only following your bible: She's being fruitful & she's having dominance over the living things she produced. - Reply to this comment

You mean Abraham, for instance? - Reply to this comment
- I agree with Jimibear about that book which has launched millions of deaths, the bible. For too long it has been used as justification to kill in gods name. Unfortunately religion is the #1 killer in the world today in my opinion. It's a convoluted, contradictory fariy tail whose interpretation can be spun 180 degrees on almost any point. I don't think the devil himself could have created a more devious book to bring about death and destruction and make a person feel good about it.

- Send her to prison... she will meet the same fate as Jeffrey Daumer. There are crimes that even the most hardened criminals find repulsive.

- "in fact i read a book recently that addressed all of this and much, much more. it even offered some suggestions you could take should you find yourself struggling with these vises. unfortunately, this best-selling self-help book has seen a declining readership of late. it is, in fact, practically illegal to mention it in california public schools at all. for the truly lost and blind, i am refering, of corse, to the Bible. the Word of God. check it out yall. Until people accept the fact that they (and only they) are responsible for their own morals and actions, and stop depending on fairy tales written hundreds or thousands of years ago, this sort of behavior, and other evils, will continue. People need to learn to do good simply because it is good, not because some imaginary diety or a man in a dress tells them so.
Only when we get up off our knees will we stand tall and be fully human. - Reply to this comment
- Personally, I think raiderscott5 is right on. The Bible is still the number one selling book in the world. The problem is people don't follow it. One woman has five children in 6 years. That isn't a family. The family is dying.

- If the charges are true, this woman is totally nuts.
Even a female stray cat knows enough to care for her young.
This woman should be put away for a long time if the charges are true. - Reply to this comment
- Hey Eggman -
I agree to a point, but I have met people who actually did seem to be born "evil" or sociopathic; from otherwise normal families, they were just a bad seed.
I can't see a problem with executing this woman, frankly; I usually oppose the death penalty, but in this case she is just slime. I wouldn't normally say this, but there is nothing a mother could do in the rest of her life which could balance a willingness to prostitute her child. We don't need this on the planet.
And I'm not a Christian, or holier than anyone. There's just no excuse for this sickening person to live. - Reply to this comment
- Well, if you really want to isolate individuals like this, I suggest the following. An operation to sever optic nerves, so they can't see. Sever autitory nerves, so they can't hear. Sever spinal nerves to create a quadreplegic. Give em a colostomy and hook em up to a feeding pump. All they will ever have for the rest of their lives is their own thoughts, with no way to communitate to the outside world. No muss, no fuss, no violence. No guards, no cells, just someone to fill em with food and take the waste away. How's that for justice? Solve prison over crowding as well... probably be able to house quite a few in a limited amount of space...

- Yes there is a cost to lock people up. But that is the price/burden a society must accept.

My first thought was how to make this b-i-t-c-h
pay for her crimes. As I was reading your post I thought your ideas would make her suffer as she should. But after the two years I would give her the needle. No need to waste any more money on this piece of trash...let's spend the money on something good and not waste it on something evil. - Reply to this comment
- Fast forward 100 yrs. to a staggering over-populated planet with a dwindling water supply:
You have birth control implants at puberty and they are not removed until you get a "certificate" or a "license".
Heck, you need a license to catch a fish or drive a car; why not a license to do something as important and profound as having children?
In the meantime, we have to deal with people like this woman and dozens (maybe hundreds) more just like her.

I think they should put in the birth control implants now!!!!!!
Do you ever notice when looking back at say your high school class........ The people who should'nt have have kids are always the first ones to have kids and then keep popping them out......
And then that kids parents who did a *** job at raising them end up having to raise their kids kids for the most part!!!!!! - Reply to this comment

- Of course, you'll be screaming for their deaths as well if that happens. Killing the mother dosen't stop the cycle. But it sure makes all you holier than thou christians feel good don't it!

You make it sound like if you support the death penalty you are a Christian, and if you don%u2019t then your not. It%u2019s not so easy to label people. I have a hard time justifying the death penalty. However, I don%u2019t consider my self to be liberal either. I am somewhere in the middle. My personal opinion is there is no excuse or explanation for what she did. The criminal as the victim only goes so far. And this is way beyond that. She should be placed in prison for the rest of her life in Solitary confinement. That means no contact with people, no going out side, no exposure to T.V. or media. No books, no paper and pen to write with. Isolate her completely in a cell with no windows or carpet. No mirror to see her image. Feed her through a slit in her cell door. Make sure there is nothing in the cell that gives her the option for suicide. If all this were done, I guarantee she would beg to be put to death. And more than likely she would be a lunatic in two years. That would be justice for the harm she caused her child. And who knows what has already been done to the other children. Yes there is a cost to lock people up. But that is the price/burden a society must accept. - Reply to this comment
- This is one sick woman, and she deserves to be in jail. So far she is being charged with trying to prostitue one of her 5 children, for which she could get 20 years. The article says they are still investigating rather or not the other 4 children were also victims. If so, I assume she could get an additional 20 years for each offence!
Those poor children will need lots of counsiling. I hope it's not too late, especialy for the 12 year old, who may have been abused since he or she was a young child. - Reply to this comment
- The solution to this is very VERY easy. Our prisons are overflowing with convicted felons that are on death row, along with those on death row, there are pedophiles, *** offenders, and rapists that will never see the light of day. I propose that they be substituted for drug testing, or any other testing that involves animals, especially drugs or products that the end result is for humans anyway. I know there are those of you out there that will strongly disagree with this being "inhumane" and unethical treatment of humans but make it voluntary & have a facility that houses all the volunteers & they have to agree that being transfered to this facility means PERMANENTLY. Cuts cost, cuts on health cost, all kinds of budgets can benefit from a program such as this. Genetics research will have enough subjects to advance the better, safer ways & means of helping humanity in general. Crimes like this are not done by either animals or humans, they are in a class all on their own.

- Your missing my point. Of course she is wrong in her actions. I think death would be too good for her. Unless she's totally mentally crazy, she had free will and choose the wrong path. But what caused her to become evil? Was she born that way? All you "christians" seem to be of the same mind. F*** the cause, just punish the offender and let "God" sort her out. It's that type of attitude that keeps the cycle going. I don't believe anybody is born evil. Evil is created by man. Not by "the devil" or demons or some sort of religious junk. If this persons child or children grows up to do the same thing to their kids, the cycle continues. Of course, you'll be screaming for their deaths as well if that happens. Killing the mother dosen't stop the cycle. But it sure makes all you holier than thou christians feel good don't it!

- This woman should be put to death. Anyone exploiting helpless children should be condemned. Why should we pay for her incarceration even for 1 day. Besides up to 20 years would never be enough to punish her for exploting a child, no less her own.
Death to this woman, I say. - Reply to this comment
