- I am so heart-broken for all of you out there who have lost precious memembers of your families. My dog was diganosed with kidney failure on Monday, and yes, he was eating one of the affected foods. So many of my friends have rushed their pets to the vets, it made me wonder about all of those poor animals in shelters that have no one to care about what happens to them?
If you are lucky enough to have a pet that forunately wasn't affected by all of this, maybe think about sending a small donation to your local shelter or ASPCA for all of those animals who don't have someone to love them. I sent my donation in this morning... - Reply to this comment

- BUSH LIED OUR PETS DIED
WASHINGTON D.C.(AP) - It has been learned that Halliburton Foods Canada, the owner of Menu Foods of Canada, was behind the deliberate poisoning of thousands of precious furry family members and the subsequent cover-up and delay in reporting. All in the name of profits. The trail of murder and deception leads all the way to the White House. Bush and Cheney have denied any involvement, but the House and Senate vow hearings and will subpoena every Republican official and pet owner in the country if they have too. - Reply to this comment
- is that all you people are about sue! sue! sue!... sue this person for this... sue this person for that... you people are no better than the companies...
I for one think the companies should held responsible.. and that those who have lost loved ones should get some sort of compensation...
but the money grubby people with their comments make you no better then them... in fact worse... all that it shows is that you are more concered about money and stricking it rich than you ever were about your pets...
if it was my pet... i wouldn't be trying to get the quick buck like you guys.. i would be looking for answers... you are a bunch of sad people... - Reply to this comment
- Sue them, hit them where it hurts, if they killed your pet and you can't afford a lawyer file a small claims case and represent yourself, at least this scummy corporation will have to send expensive lawyers out to defend themselves, you can at least make it cost them a lot of money. Also if you find a lawyer willing to take the case for a percentage of the winnings make sure you get it in writing that you aren't responsible for their expenses if they lose. Alot of these lawyers will sell you out then bill you for their "Expenses." Go get em....

I think he's a little too busy dealing with the fact that his wife was just diagnosed with incurable bone cancer. Also it's obvious that you're not a pet owner. If you are then I sure feel sorry for them. - Reply to this comment

- Sue! Sue! Sue! My dogs are fine (so far), but I can't imagine how bad I'd feel if I lost them. You can accept (as every pet owner must) that they'll eventually pass away of old age or a disease of old age, but for them to be killed by tainted food is unacceptable. It is the company that is at fault, but don't forget that it's also the FDA's responsibility to see that this doesn't happen in the first place, so more then a few people are to blame. I'm waiting for the first Congressperson or Senator to lose a pet. Then the he*ll raising will really start.
