patriotic9-maybe instead of bashing people that are trying to do what is right about iraq and that feel the same way about it as you do, you should have some respect for them and agree to disagree with them on religious points. Bashing and slamming other people's faith, especially when they are opposed to iraq like you are, doesn't say much for your character. I am a christian, I never supported bush, never voted for anyone in this administration and view these nutcases that claim religious reasons for attacking Iraq as exactly that- nutcases.

patriotic9-actually Pat Robertson advised AGAINST the US going into iraq without the UN, saing that he felt that God had led him to believe it would be a huge mistake. He also caused a huge stir when he told the nation that Bush had confided in him that there won't BE any US casualties in Iraq, which proved the ignorance and incompetence of this administration.

You may need to consider the NEED for many to continue believing in fairy tales into adulthood. Some never out grow that state.

Asking them to give up their "warm fuzzy" is an absolute waste of time and effort. Once they are intellectually enslaved to believe in a dogma, logic and common sense takes a back seat.

Many of them delight in the religious overtone of Iraq with a Judeo-Christian country invading a Muslim country and dictating to the Muslims.... just as it should be in the minds of those who relish the occurrence.
