I have to walk on the side walks and bike riders do the same as that kid. Nothing happens. Bikes are not allowed on the side walks. They will not ride on the side of the road as they are suppose to. Years ago in school we learned as a class the dos and don'ts of bike ridership. Is that not taught today. If not why not.

Face it Randal, you'd be a lot happier somewhere like China or the old Soviet Union, or maybe Nazi Germany, all the same kind of police states you love so much. It was a 7 year old kid on a dirt bike, get over yourself already.

Good. I'll bet he never does it again either! Sometimes kids need to be scared straight at an early age and this sounds to me like the cops did exactly what they should have done. Children must be taught that in the real adult world there are consequences for your actions. If they learn it young then they won't have to learn it later by going to prison or worse.
