- and this evil guy was loose because.....?
like someone asked in regards to the Jessica Lundsford case, what is the responsibility of the powers that be for being negligent when Couey had ASKED for help dealing with a lesser offence than the murder?
when police and courts deal with these vicious numbers they have guns, guards, jails, mace, a judge with clout, umpteen hefty guys around for spare help, and yet somehow the courts think some little 90 pound woman is suppose to deal with these mean men all by herself.

- No you did not say it, but it was implied. When people fail to realize that one of government's roles are to enforce or dictate behavior for the good of society when individuals either can't or won't--then the implication is live and let live. (or keep government out of personal business) face it, we cannot have it both ways. If people want government to force women to have babies, then they must by extension also decide who is capable of having or raising that baby to ensure that it lives--otherwise to force a means but not dictate the end means babies will continue to be born to either be loved, respected, or tortured, abused and killed. If you want cake, you have to accept that sugar is not the only ingredient. We never had live and let live--or "decent people just doing the right thing. We always had a society of misfits, with some getting it right, most trying to find out what right is and a sizeable portion not really giving a d@mn what right ever was.
No where did I imply. You are wrong. And, the government does not force women to have babies. That is foolish. - Reply to this comment

Never implied that marijuana causes violence.
Your mind's (or what's left of it) prolly filled with too smoke, right? LOL
Marijuana weakens Nervous System.
A weaken Nervous System gives a perp LESS CONTROL over his violent tendencies/behavior!
Seen that scenario played time and again with marijuana smokers.
Just been made aware of an account recently, in which a university student got high and stab his marijuana smoking buddy to death.
He is filled with disbelief and regret now that he's more sober and in JAIL for a long time, and with no marijuana to soothe his aching mind. LOL - Reply to this comment
- rohink: the problem with live and let live and everyone "just trying to be decent human beings" is many just won't. They will continue to fail to care for and raise their kids, thus ensuring your children and children's children will be their victims. Dahmers and Gacys and Bundys and this man do not grow up in a vacuum. Why reference 1984, we crossed that line when we allowed government to torture, wiretap, propagandize and when many want it to control women's bodies and who can have *** with who. Why does "1984" scare people sooooo much and yet they live with shades of it daily and never even notice it?

- Now I could agree with some Saudi Arabian style justice for this evil idiot. Let the public stone him to death.

- Either shoot him, fry him in the electric chair, or put him in the exercise yard in any maximum-security facility. And yes, I agree with regulations for breeding. Every other part of society is regulated already. You need training and a license to drive a car, fly a plane, become a nurse, etc. so why shouldn't we have to have training and apply for a permit to breed?
I think that is some pretty scary stuff. We don't need more Government regulations. Anybody read Orwell? Why don't we spend more time trying to be good human beings, doing the right thing, excepting responsibility for our actions, quite blaming everyone else. Teach or young children morals. There really is a right and wrong, good and evil. Equip our childrent with strong sense of self. Don't have children until you are married and are commited to raising them properly. - Reply to this comment
- The police wont have to do a thing. He will have his time in Prison when the other inmates get to him. They do not like baby killers, molesters, or abusers. So he better get ready for the real abuse.

Interesting you should post that. The man already has spent time in Prison. While it is true inmates do not like child molesters or abusers, it is also true that many predators in society are also ssexual predators and abusers in prison. He already knows what to expect, already having had a stint. It would be no surprise to learn he rapes men and beats them in prison also..... too bad he cannot get the death penalty or life with no chance of parole--he's obviously depraved. - Reply to this comment
- It's an evil act and I agree the mofo who did this atrocious act deserves to be locked up with the worst of them...
A pity they couldn't give up the kid to an adoption agency instead...
Mind you, there are a lot of crackpots out there who think the world is going to end. So, for a moment, I'll appease that lot and say "Then surely the toddler is better off dead?" - Reply to this comment
- Sentry88:
AMEN. Anyone who abuses weaker individuals, especially children, should be treated to same and locked up FOREVER. But would it happen? No way. US "justice" system protects proven perps over victims by allowing them back on streets, or not even jailing them in first place. Oh, we say, they deserve a second chance...they can do better. Who buys that ***? They have already condemed and negatively affected the lives of others through their willful actions, and nothing will change that. Get rid of such scum. Permanently. - Reply to this comment

As usual you are spouting your *** out the @ssh0le you call a mouth.
There has never been any proof the Marijuana causes violence. Why do you think the Indians smoked it in their peacepipes. The last thing you are concerned with when "high" is violence. More likely they were wondering if there was any buffalo hump stew left.
Please do us all a favor and shut up. We are sick of you and your cr@p! - Reply to this comment

- "Adoption is a wonderful option for people who can't or won't take care of their children. It is a truly loving option. "
Posted by armjdm at 09:46 AM : Mar 16, 2007
I agree with much of what you wroe but know that adoption is no panacea. Many adopted children are horrendously sexually, physically and mentally abused, there are many records of this. Suffice to say it is a *** shoot--whether your biological parents are monsters or those who buy babies are monsters. It is a fallacy to imagine adoptive parents must really love and want children and so, would never harm them. Some not only harm them---they kill them, torture them, etc just like other people. - Reply to this comment
