This matter just shows that the world is full of sick people, unfortunately, as we can see, some of them post here.

Maybe we should save our sympathies for the likes of such

I don't know what to say... I have a dog too and we consider him as part of our family not just as a pet. I hope Crystal would find in her heart peace after her lost and a new friendship with Diesel.

My condolences to this poor woman. whoever though it would be great to take a dog, and BEHEAD IT?! leaving its head on the doorstep was just wrong. I for one wish to see this man in jail for quite a long time. no one deserves to go through this. Dogs live too, you know! they arent just trash like some people think! THEY HAVE LIVES TOO!! I WANT THIS MAN TAKEN DOWN AND LEFT TO ROT IN PRISON!!

Hey Agnim, you're a real jerk. How would you feel if you were the one to watch your child or loved one open that box, huh?

Love the holier than thou attitude you cop so often. Part of what separates HUMANS from ANIMALS (since you are so haughty about it), is the ability to feel compassion and love for something. Or did you forget that part of it?

How awful for that girl. I hope they find the cruel and compassion-less HUMAN that did it.

"i have to agree tho agnim that for a 17 year girl's only friend in the world(as this comment makes it see) she was pretty messed up in the head.

Thank you for piercing dispassionately beyond the veil and seeing the light also. LOL

As bizarre as this incident may be, this girl has greater problems than the loss of a mere dog.

My heart felt condolences go out to this girl and her loss. The story is being told because it may encourage someone who may have seen something to do the right thing and phone in a tip to the local authorities and allow for justice to be served. Please, if someone does know something about this, do the right thing here, if not for the dog or the girl, do it so the same sick individual won't do it to someone else, perhaps YOUR pet?

this was sad to hear. I hope those who say they cried, also cry for the hundreds we are often 'accidentally' killing over in Iraq (civilians) or are presence is causing them to be killed. We should cry for their lost lives too, regardless if they'd do the same for us.

Who would Jesus bomb pre-emptively? Who would Jesus authorize Torture on?

Agnim - a "mere animal"?? You need to be reminded that humans are also animals, including YOU!

Stale Valentines Day candy was included with the head. How crass. Certainly, the sender could have used some the nice Easter candy available. Now, back to the war CBS.

It is beyond me why you people always get off the track. Why don't you stick to the story instead of ranting on and on about something else. This poor girl is suffering from the lost of her dog. What kind of sicko does a thing like that. We are all creatures of God. My heart goes out to this girl. Now she will have to deal with that for the rest of her life. God heal her in the days ahead. And let's hope that catch the sicko who did this.

"I felt empty," Crystal said. "I couldn't talk to anyone. He was my dog. It was just me and him. ... I told him everything and he never shared any of my secrets."

or by how much she played off that this dog was her whole life she may even have been the perpetrador..
a cry for attention.....

just a thought, if not it truely is sick either way.

I kind of agree with you Agnim although I think you're being pretty heartless yourself by saying that whoever did this did this girl a favor. It is amazing though how people here will go wacko about a dead dog but hundreds of thousands of dead people because of their fake politicians in the republican and democrat party is no big deal... Hitler would have loved these people...

Please, please, please sell me some of that weed you're smoking.

I certainly hope that justice is done in this matter. Those who only think "It's only a dog" weren't born with compassion, and are probably sociopaths themselves. And, BTW, dogs are better than most humans. I also hope that if justice is not carried out by our legal system, that this creep will fall victim to vigilante justice.

i have to agree tho agnim that for a 17 year girl's only friend in the world(as this comment makes it see) she was pretty messed up in the head.
I have a feeling she was having a feud with someone from school and that she did some pretty horrible things to this other girl to.
their is definately more here then meets the eye as someone else put it.

"George Bush is saving my ***" what a hoot... keep on telling yourself that

Thought that might get your attention. What's fascinating is that you A bags turn a sad story about a girls dog into a hate Bush rant. I guess you'll tie W into it somehow. Maybe he owns stock in the company that made the knife that cut the dog's head off. Give us a break!

On Sept. 12, 2000, Baltimore Sun reporter Miriam Miedzian wrote, "So when he was a kid, George W. enjoyed putting firecrackers into frogs, throwing them in the air, and then watching them blow up. Should this be cause for alarm? How relevant is a man's childhood behavior to what he is like as an adult? And in this case, to what he would be like as president of the United States."

I am so sorry for your loss. The love we have for our animals is precious. To do that to her dog is depravity at it's worst. I agree with the writer who said she needs to be watched very closely for her protection. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
