My one and only question is why did the police wait so long to search the house? Seems to me that would have been the very first place to go searching, especially after he refused to take a lie detector test.

"Yet, cases such as this prove that women have an obligation to go out into the workforce and liberate ourselves from having to marry men if marriage is only to take us for granted, make us carry the seeds of men with no gratitude, and ultimately become their victims."

As tragic as this case is, it is unfair to categorically blame all men. There are many caring and loving men who treat their wives well. Likewise, this is true of many women. This guy is obviously sick. His actions are not normal or typical. You need to find the right guy. The wrong choice can lead to all kinds of problems.

"The children in this case will be better off if they allow the father to commit suicide so the kids can be placed in the home of a loving *****sexual couple."

So "hetero*sexual" people shouldn't have kids? Wow, that's the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time...

This kind of domestic violence will continue to persist (black, white, hispanic, asian, et al) as long as this nation continues to allow perverted hetero*exual to marry and procreate. The children in this case will be better off if they allow the father to commit suicide so the kids can be placed in the home of a loving *****sexual couple.

SharnCedar, Under what rock did you come out from under? I suggest you go live where it is still within the right of men in some 30% of the world today. Believe me there isn't a women here that would miss you and it's not because you crawled back under your rock.

This would be legal according to the ancient codes of justice. His wife was unfaithful and disobedient, throughout most of civilized history it is within his right, if he chooses, to destroy her. It is still within the right of men in some 30% of th world today.

So what we have here is a conflict between the ancient, moral laws, and the modern immoral laws. In the ancient laws, men served as checks and balances against the natural inordinate competitiveness and greed of the women. Now, without these checks and balances, our country is in social chaos. Yes, it is a harsh punishment, but this kind of threat is necessary to keep women from acting out their insatiable greeds. The forces that drive the chaotic mind of a woman are intense; only intense penalties can keep them sober and honest, leading to an orderly and happy society.

Is our society happy and orderly? Of course not, and the more we empower woman to live without law or consequences, the more disorder we will have, until such time as the anarchy descends on us once more. It is one of those catch-22's, we can't have freedom without order. But which comes first.

Sad to say blacks will hurt others in prison but so will whites, indians, etc. Violence knows no color as does just about any other characteristic. DNA says we are ALL about 99% the same. Racist people get over it. Never been racist, never will be.

About the race issue, for the record...I am just an Average American white woman and I would care just as much over the death of a Black woman, Hispanic, Asian...any person murdered under these type of circumstances. I think most decent people feel the same way. It is primarily the media that spins the scoop. I am also sad that our country seems to have lost it's way; we will resort to killing to solve our problems...too sad. The Bible says that unrighteousness will supress the path of truth (Romans) We are really of the path of "Love thy neighbor" Sorry a little soapboxy

This issue has nothing to do with race. My point is every human being should be affored the same investigation regardless of race, when they go missing. The tragedy is, Tara Grant's children will be without both their parents. Cora Sweet was just as valued as Tara Grant.

I agree with the poster that said he should "off himself". What has he got to live for. He murdered his wife so it is not like he is gonna "be there" for his children. He did the crime and now they will lock him in a cage where he will be further brutalized in the prison system. If I were him I would kill myself and stop crying about it and making it such a big issue that he has anything to live for anyway.

It's very unfortunate that it took 3 weeks to obtain a search warrant! Every time the husband was interviewed he looked guilty (in his eyes) and made strange comments about his wife. If he didn't commit suicide, he should hang. How could he do that to his children? Take their mother away? That was the most heart breaking thing to find out! I feel deeply sorry for Tara's family and the children and they should know that the entire area is praying for them.

If a man travels for his work, a woman never kills him. Men, be they black, white, green, or purple, need to get over their fragile egoes and accept that our careers mean just as much, if not more, than theirs. Women in the workforce have a tough hill to climb. Yet, cases such as this prove that women have an obligation to go out into the workforce and liberate ourselves from having to marry men if marriage is only to take us for granted, make us carry the seeds of men with no gratitude, and ultimately become their victims.

Frtr0ua5,

Why do you as such foolish questions? You know the death or birth of a black person has no value in America! Now on the flip side, if a lily white woman or man goes missing %u2013 they will interrupt American Idol to let the world know! No big deal, after all that%u2019s why they call it America!

I'm sorry this has ended this way, from the start I suspected Stephen Grant was involved in his wife's disappearance. It's unfortunate for Tara's children now have to know that their father murdered their mother. My next question is, what about the Black woman who's been missing from Brownstown Township in Michigan? They have charges her husband with the murder of his first wife, but what about her? She still hasn't been found, and their is no national media coverage in her disappernce. The house was burned and the police suspect it was to cover up her murder. It's tragic all around.
