to RhondaM5: This is a Serious news sight. Personally, I do not want to hear about Joe Shmuck changing his name to Peyton Manning... Obviously, he wanted wanted to do something to bring himself some media attention and it worked. But if it makes you feel better by reading it, than that's ok too. There are plenty of light-hearted news stories on "The View".

It never ceases to amaze me how many hard-hearted snobbish people there are in this world! I suppose you'd rather be reading about a mass murder somewhere or who's been seen running around with the latest society girl! Relax, it's just a lighthearted human interest story. Everything in the news doesn't have to be about something terrible happening in the world!

This is retarded. Why do you want to make an article on this dumb story. I guess nothing is happening in the world.

I live in Decatur and it was big news around here. I imagine CBS got the story from our CBS affiliate in Chamgaign, IL (about 40 miles from here). Although it may not matter to a lot of people it is big here, especially since the original Chicago Bears started in Decatur as the Staley Bears! We may not have won, but we do love our Bears!
