I think it's insulting for CBS to write a story about conspiracy theories and mention the 9-11 truth movement, and tom-cat in the same article.

Has CBS ignored the fact that on CNN.com there was a poll asking if the goverment was involved in 9-11, and 90% of pollers said YES? (This was during an Anderson Cooper 360 show)

If you are still skeptical about the so-called "conspiracy theorists" regarding 9-11, than I highly suggest you watch the following movies-

"Loose Change-2nd edition", and "Terrorstorm". You can view these both for free on Google video.

Both of these movies have numbers of experts on explosives, architecture, and even some high profile goverment officials. They even have the company that approved the steel in the twin towers saying that jet fuel does not burn hot enough to even weaken the steel. They publicly say the 9-11 comission report was completely inconsistent with what really happened.

If you'd rather believe our president over scientists, than fine... It's not like he's ever lied to us..... Right??

Any non-crack smoking materials scientist will tell you the structural support system of the Twin Towers lost half of their strength when exposed to the high temperatures generated by the jet fuel and other burning materials. It is even possible that some in the intelligence agencies knew something "may" happen but did not know "when" or "if" it would happen. On this outlandish claim by some that the PTBs(powers-that-be) "knew" or "allowed" this tragedy to happen is ridiculous. There are hundreds or maybe even thousands of security threats everyday. It is a tribute to the intelligence agencies, military and Bush administration that a second wave on the scale of 9/11 has yet to occur.

Janem, I've read and heard countless times about the drills and simulations the government was conducting on 9-11, I suggest you prove to me that they weren't doing it, I'm not here to prove my point to you, the information is out there, go do your own research.

Here's another interesting little tidbit..

9-11-1945 The masonic cornerstone was laid at the pentagon and construction began.

9-11-1990 George H. Bush makes his famous "New World Order" speech.

exactly 11 years later... voila, 9-11... do I think his ******* son did it? Hell no, he probably knew they were going to do it though, he's just a puppet.

Why were Giuliani and Bernard Keric already in their emergency command center in WTC 7 when 9-11 happened? Because they were running drills which were simulating exactly what happened, do some research. Now look at how all these traitors have profitted off of 9-11... disgusting..

A passport supposedly found lying on the ground, when one fireman stated that even the phones were in bits and pieces. Where is the tail of the plane that hit the pentagon, The depth that th planes supposedly projected in the building, would have left the tail, in plain site, no pun intended.

All I have to say is this, if the 9/11 conspiracy is so far fetched, then why aren't the corporate news services doing any real investigation into what really happened and why. If in fact, the Twin Towers were so poorly built that they collapsed when the designers claimed that the towers could take the impact of just such an incident, then why haven't the builders and designers been investigated. More over, why had the twin towers just changes hands, and why had the new owner invest so much money in insurance if he was not aware anything was about to happen.

It was evident from the beginning that the American people were lied to. How was it so easy for the US government to name the hijackers, when its been proven by some energetic journalist that at least some of the hijackers were alive after the incident, and living in foreign countries. Who really were those hijackers, their names weren't on any of the rolls of listed fatalities among the crash victims. The names of those who were on those planes was released soon after the event, and not one of the hijackers names appeared.
