I'm amused by the 'Bible-thumper' comments. First, that's a pretty broad brush with which to paint the entirety of Christendom. Then again, it's fairly typical for the ignorant to find labels for things as a substitute for investigating them. Second, you assume much. Do you know anything about the traditions of this church, what denomination it is under, etc.? It may be that they abandoned adherence to the Bible decades ago and have nothing substantial to thump than their own opinions. Third, name-calling appears to be fair in only certain contexts. Notice that it is OK to call the associates of this pervert (I'm using the word properly, look it up) 'Bible-thumpers,' but if some Christian were to come out and call him term starting with 'm' and rhyming with maggot, they'd be derided as a bigot and probably prevented from posting again. Somebody should tell the Christians that they are the only ones are expected to fight fair.

Oh, and so what if Mr. Bush's aunt liked the guy? Nobody died and made her queen. Besides, they probably lifted the quote (if it is) out of context and possibly got it before she knew about the offense.
