Who is representing CA? Haven't we had enough of W. and his henchmen? I am disabled. I get no cheer except from smoking weed (which I don't have). It can grow freely in my back yard. Instead, I have to take pharmaceuticals by the boat load (against my will) that cost the taxpayer thousands a year and make me feel lousy. I had a medical marijuana card. But what good is it in Orange County CA? The storm troopers would get you after your neighbors either rat you out or steal your stash. F... you republicans. Here's to Dr. Eidelman of L.A. who endured a malicious sting of the San Bernadino sheriff (gestapo). Why the San Bernadino sheriff in L.A.? Who knows. Dr. Eidelman fought them and won. But for a medical marijuana card a person has to spend $150-$300. For an ounce of weed in a dispensary where the weed is decent the cost might hit $8000 a pound or more. So sure there is going to be unsavoriness. That's because the storm troopers won't allow the weed to grow along side the other vegetation as God meant it to. But go to Costco or any supermarket and look in any shopping cart and 5 out of 10 will have liquor. Are they sober when they drive? Who drinks those big jugs of liquor or endless 24 packs of beer? Who buys beers endlessly at stadiums and gets s*** faced? So why is the largest cash crop of many states unregulated you morons? It's because of your IDIOCRACY! Give us back our liberty. Don't fight for the liberty of others and kill our young people for your NO EXIT war.

Your missinformed.

Do you think people are just going to stop using it. Do you think people who are paying $3000.00 a lb are just going to stop. We have laws saying its illegal top sell it to kids. Do you think dealers are just going to start honoring these laws because it legal.

In California, pot is more legal than anywhere else in the nation and California has more problems because of it than any other state in the nation.

It's the money. Billions of dollars in profit, that won't reduce just because we through some laws away.

Anyone who has three million worth of pot on one acre of ground has placed them and their kids in serious jeopardy. "

Yes, as a matter of fact, people do not need to compete underground anymore, the GOVERNMENT would REGULATE. Would you kill anyone to try my homemade Jack Daniels? Your comments are absolutely ridiculous

There is one simple fact that everyone overlooks in matters such as these. Alcohol Kills hundreds of thousands of people every year, possibly many more. How many people die from medical marijuana in any shape or form. Maybe 1 or 2 people from lung cancer? Say whatever you want about natural herbs, the simple fact again is that medical marijuana hurts no one.

Kids and pot. Paents stop blaming ht eweed and takew a good look in the mirror. Chances are it isnt the pot thats not doing its job. Its most likely poor parenting. If pot were legal then it would be controlled. In turn making a smoking age [21yrs old]. This would make it so you can go after the people contributing to minors, instead of going after everyone who is responsibly using.Target the criminals not the common hard working man. Regulation will protect the kids from themselves. Be smart and open minded. Please remember. The only world that revolves around you is yours.

Theres always exceptions to the rule, but those exceptions aren't the rule....there may be teens who get a medical card to buy the pot, but for every one of those teens, there are a hundred dying patients. Your comments are so one-sided.

Its a *** shame that so many people are so misinformed on the subjects of marijuana, or ganja as it known by in other countries, and the ever biodegradable hemp plant.

The American public is and has been on so many occasions duped, and stupefied into believing a lot of nonsense.

They reason, that since it is coming from the "federal government" and the "church", it has to be the truth, and they, like good sheep, believe it.

RandalDS

"Not one of them is a recreational user that I know of" "Most are dying, not just sick, but dying of AIDS or cancer and they turn to these clinics to help ease their pain."

WRONG !

Most of them are young pot heads that won't get a job. They just hang around getting high.

You should go and just stand with them. say nothing, ask nothing, just listen. You'll see.
