This is a tragedy that happens almost everyday, I'm just glad some teenagers were stupid enough to post their stupidity on the internet so the world ccan see what type of these have been going on in adolescence for a long time now, and possibly start paying attention to their young daughters, just that much more.

thank you

I personally was beaten up at age 16. I was involved in fights in high school that had many members involved. No I personally never beat anyone up, I am not violent, I don't have mental disorders, I don't hit other people or watch fighting as entertainment. I was however a teenager once, and girls are and always have been viscious towards each other, simply because they are taught by SOCIETY that "girl fighting" is one harmless, two exciting to watch hence it was published and or bragged about, three a solution for solving petty differences and jealousies, four encourage by parents who are simply not teaching their children about jealousy and paying attention to the relationships and friendships their pubertizing adolescent has become involved with. The "click" or grouping of girls is natural, however, when these groups of girls starts to take on gang-like qualities, it is very OBVIOUS and can easily be controlled simply by knowing where your kids are at all times and what is going on in their lives.

Blaming liberals for taking God out of the schools and television shows like MTV etc is like blaming a tic for giving a dog rabies . . . although the subjects seem like they could be related, realistically these things can not make a difference and are almost impossible to change, like saying "if the sun wouldn't come up, we wouldn't get sun cancer" . . . some of you are rediculously ignorant.

Saying the girls aren't typical . . . is stupid. If they have mental problems, then so do you, take yourself back to junior high, if there wasn't bullies and fights, then you are not typical. This age is typical for hormonal imbalances, puberty, and to say the least, society has made it ok for girls to fight because it is found more interesting and as men would have it . . . harmless. But reality is girls are just as human as boys, can cause just as much physical harm to anyone as a convicted murderer.

OK . . . I am commenting on the comments I read first. Coming up with excuses for "play fighting" and other cartoon b.s. from the other 11,000 "girl fights" that were found is horrible whether you say you condone physical violence or not, hypocritical is what you are.

Blaming parents for raising the girls is rediculous, most parents don't condone this behavior, it is society that says its ok and to take the stand point of blaming the parents makes you part of the problem. Parents can not controll things like this, they can raise their children the best they know how but inevitably, young teenagers will find ways to do what they want, regardless of how good their parenting was, this is how IT IS and always HAS been since you were a child I am sure!

I would like to point out that Kelly Wallace did her youtube seach wrong. Seaching for girl + fight gives all the entries that related to girl OR fight. What she should have done was search for "girl fight" to seach for the phrase. Which only gives 2855 results instead of the 11,000 that were reported.

IT MAKES ME SICK KNOWING WE ALREADY HAVE A WAR GOING ON OVER IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND KNOW HERE WE ARE BATTLING AGAINST OURSELVES.. WHEN IS EVERYONE GOING TO WAKE UP AND REALIZE, FIGHTING IS NOT THE SOLUTION.. EVERYONE SAY THEY WANT PEACE.. WELL IT HAS TO START FROM SOMEONE AND I SAY IT STARTS WITH THE PARENTS,BY THE WAY WHERE WERE THESE 13 YR PARENTS.. SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU SAY HHHHHHMMMMMMM.....

One if the most most disgraceful things about this story is the reporters failure to look beyond the 11,000+ results turned up by searching for "girl Fight" on YouTube. Yes, there are plenty of real fights. However, there are also hundreds of play fights, pillow fights, anime fights, verbal fights, girls boxing (with boxing gloves) and so on. On top of that, there's also a lot girl/boy fights. Again, many of them are not at all actually physically violent fights. Many are boyfriend/girlfriend verbal fights, play fights and so on. The fact reported was accurate, but it was also extremely sensational and misleading. By the way, this is just a comment about the nature of the news media today. Please do not take it as anything more. I do not condone physical violence of any kind, nor do I believe that it shoulc be glorified in any way, including posting it on YouTube or MySpace.

These girls are not typical and obviously have mental problems. What kind of parents could raise such brute girls? Idiots??

CBS should not show this as being "typical" behaviour because it is not. Such aggression stems from deep-seated problems.
