Hey Redrubydoo,
I think the library is getting ready to close so you probably will not be able to continue your educated comments. Good luck in the cell.
You and JRToddskow2 should get together and share some of your hair raising experiences in the M/C

JRToddskow2,
No motorscooters allowed in the gang. I bet you advertise your profession, which you can get for a dime a dozen, In High Times. Keep smoking and pleading your clients out for those long jail sentences to make a buck. You opinion means nothing to anyone.

Booze kills. Pot doesnt. Booze is the gateway to coke and hard drugs. Go to the bars...you'll see.

Alcohol is a depressant so is marijuana- cocaine is a stimulant- you wouldn't use alcohol as a gateway drug to a stimulant unless you were already displaying addictive behavior. I have been in a lot of bars over the years and not once have I run into cocaine there. I don't know what bars you may be frequenting but it just seems strange to me that you equate the alcohol with cocaine.

RonaldStark you posted:"At the time it was banned the gov't did not even let the American Medical Association testify at the hearing as to the medical benefits of marijuana. "

umm- at the time it was banned- 1937 per your post the American Medical Association advocated smoking cigarettes as a way to ease your throat discomfort and cigarette ads in magazines showed doctors lighting up.

"You talk about throwing him in jail for just starting this project. Wow. You obviously need to smoke some of this marijuana that we've all been debating all day. Of course its dangerous.

Posted by RonaldStark at 03:31 PM : Dec 22, 2006"

LOL
Your problem maybe that you breath in too much smoke and too little oxygen!

If your so-called 'project' aids and abets the destruction of American Nervous Systems and present CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to the Nervous Systems of our young, then jail was meant for such a person if he insists on going ahead with your 'project'!

You know it's a ******* shame that someone could have gone so far in school, as you have claimed, yet turn out to be so thoroughly MIS-EDUCATED! Tsk-tsk

"Agnim, you're advocating jailing a cop for excercising his right to free speech?

Posted by blahblahbla5 at 02:59 PM : Dec 22, 2006"

Get a grip!
Or get another 'hit', whatever gets your panties out of the bunch! LOL

The post said jail the foolish cop as a JOKE! LOL

Police can take citizens in anytime for 'questioning'.

The police could do that with this foolish ex-cop a few times if the courts ever foolishly allow this mad idea to manifest itself.

Look, I don't agree with every law in this country. But the argument that just because alchohol is legal and prescription drugs get abused doesn't allow for a valid argument for legalizing marijuana- it just doesn't- two wrongs don't make something right. You didn't answer any of my questions in my earlier post about how pot would be cultivated and regulated except to dismiss it with a blanket statement that the US would influence all these other countries to do as it wishes. So let me try to follow you "free society" line of thinking here- it's okay for the US to legalize pot and influence or basically dictate to other countries to do the same? Aren't you really contradicting yourself there? A "Free Society" is as ambiguous as it gets- not definable except by ones own personal value system. Therefore a free society never really exists anywhere because people don't have the same values even in the same country. You're not supporting your argument with anything valid and the 'fight the man' mentality went the way of David Koresh, my friend.

Marijuana was banned in 1937 because duPont had just invented NYLON and they wanted to take over the rope market. They obviously paid off some high ranking gov't officials to get the propaganda machine pumping with fake news articles and ridiculous movies (reefer madness) Another reason is the gov't racism towards african american jazz musicians and mexican immigrants. So this was a win-win for big business and our immigration problems at the time. At the time it was banned the gov't did not even let the American Medical Association testify at the hearing as to the medical benefits of marijuana.

POT BEING ILLEGAL IS OBVIOUSLY A BIG SHAM.

So you people are trying to tell us the United States has NO influence over foreign laws?! Give me a break!!! Agnim is one of the reasons I have become more conservative in my political views. You talk about throwing him in jail for just starting this project. Wow. You obviously need to smoke some of this marijuana that we've all been debating all day. Of course its dangerous. Breathing in the air is dangerous. Walking down the street is dangerous nowadays even in the suburbs. But we don't restrict these freedoms because we are SUPPOSED to live in a FREE country. If you want dictation....hire Sadaam to run your own little island for you. That way he can tell you what is good and bad for you and boss you around so you feel like you have some structure and you can be comfortable.

blahblahbla5 - you're not supporting your legalization argument with anything than that it infringes on your inherent rights somehow and that magically because we legalize in this country the whole world will march to our beat and do the same because we seem to be the only society in the whole wide world that isn't a 'free' society? Do you have enough brain cells left to put together and intelligent way to make your point?

"This guy is providing a public service, and probably is trying to make up for all the harm he has done to people in his years as a narc cop."

Huh? I am sorry but it sounds like you have no respect for any person with any authority. EARTH SHATTERING NEWS: THERE ARE LAWS AND REGULATIONS IN LIKE EVERY COUNTRY ON EARTH AND NO SOCIETY IS REALLY FREE!!! Being a narc cop is a harmful thing? OK then- how bout you go take a few more bong hits, eat some cheetos and try to regroup your brain cells.
